What about establishing a new game? It is mainly based upon the map of Middle Earth (including the map of Beleriand). Let me describe it to you.
A person creates a certain route consisting of different points. For instance: Isengard – Fangorn Forest – Anduin – Dol Guldur. And next he represents it in a ‘modified’ form: Iron Fortress – Shepherd – water – Black Magic.
This modified form is obtained by representing points of the route by associated things, one’s associations with the point, characteristics of the point, people who live there, in other words by anything that has something to do with the point. In the above example: Iron Fortress – translation of ‘Angrenost’, which in Rohirric means Isengard; Shepherd is for shepherd of the trees, Fangorn; water means river, sea, ocean that is necessary to cross in order to get to the next point. In this example water is for Anduin; and Black Magic is the translation of Guldur. The others who try to guess may ask more description of the point if necessary. The aim thus is to guess the points of the route. Note that the route is not necessarily straight.
So what do you think of it?  :)

I'd say that was the return journey of Bilbo on his trip to the Lonely Mountain

And so far, I think it's:

lonely mountain - mirkwood - River Langford - Misty Mountains - rivendell - ? - ? - the shire

It's not the journey from Erebor however it repeats many of its points.
The road isn't necessary follows some journey. As for the unguessed ones, try to remember the translation of wind into Elvish and the title of one of TLotR's chapters.  ^*

Indeed it is:
Dol Amroth - ? - Pelargir - Minas Tirith - Nindalf/Wetwang - Falls of Rauros

As for the missing one, think of elvish translations and geographical locations
