Plot:SG-1 Brings back an artifact from P3C-274. The artifact is stolen and Daniel, Jack and Sam go after the guy.

Bio/other:Dr. Daniel Jackson is an only child and an orphan. His maternal grandfather and only living relative, Nick Ballard, is currently living on another planet with giant aliens. Daniel is a brilliant archaeologist and linguist who speaks twenty-three languages. He used this knowledge to open the Stargate. On the original mission through the Stargate to the planet Abydos, Daniel met and fell in love with a native woman, Sha're. They accidentally married, but after winning the battle to free the Abydonians from the System Lord Ra, Daniel decided not to return to Earth with the rest of the team. He had finally found a family and wanted to live the rest of his life learning about the culture and history of Abydos, which had many parallels to ancient Egypt.
Daniel's parents, also archaeologists, were crushed while overseeing a piece of Egyptian art being placed in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, in New York. This caused Daniel much grief during his life. Daniel serves the role of an interpreter when speaking to alien people. He learns languages quickly and has a wealth of knowledge on ancient cultures. Among a team of military officers, Daniel is often the voice of understanding and acceptance of different cultures. He is an optimist and believes in helping people even if it endangers his own life.
During his many adventures with SG-1, Daniel has been captured, infected with alien viruses, killed, brought back to life multiple times, and succumbed to appendicitis.

Bio/other:Kaylee was the only daughter of two high ranking officals. WHen she was only six years old a plague broke out. There was no cure and it was spreading fast. Kaylee's father was the first to get sick shortly after he died she and her mother both became sick. Kaylee's mother died first.
When Athena was 17 she had a sort of vision with a stone ring and seven symbols lit up. She went to the ring of the gods and put in the seven symbols. She ended up on another planet. After a few days on the planet a group of strangers came through the portal. The people of the planet did not speak the language of the strangers But Athena did. When the strangers started to go she begged them to go with them. The leader finally agreed. Athena helped get Jack out of stasis and joined the SGC.

His habits include napping in underwear and eating energy bars, but eating anything citrus related causes an allergic reaction. His weaknesses are known to consist of a somewhat cowardly nature at times and women with short blonde hair i.e. Samantha Carter

Description: Jack is a colonel in the USAF working for the Stargate program. Married, he had originally retired from his position and become suicidal when his son Charlie accidently shot himself with O'Neill's personal gun, but was reactivated for the dangerous first mission. He is the more military member of the SG-1 team than the others of the team, and is more clever than it first appears.

Bio:Dr. Samantha Carter has a Ph.D. in Astrophysics and is an officer of the U.S. Air Force. She served in the Gulf War and was part of the Project Blue Book program (which later became the Stargate Program) just before Dr. Daniel Jackson solved the riddle of the stargate. She was selected as the second-in-command officer of the newly formed SG-1 while at the rank of Captain. Samantha Carter is a brilliant scientist and exceptional officer, a vital part of Earth's defense against the Goa'uld and many other enemies. She is one of the few people on Earth who understands how the Stargate works. She is a steadfast friend to her teammates, was the closest friend of Janet Fraiser, and is a surrogate mother to Cassie. She is strong, independent, and often work-obsessed. Her romantic life has had its ups and downs, and she is currently single.

Homeworld: A planet under Cronus' control

Description: Once serving the System Lord Apophis as his First Prime, Teal'c defected in the first episode of the series after Colonel Jack O'Neill convinced him that he could save all the people in the prison with them. As an ex-jaffa, Teal'c is now a leading authority on the Goa'uld on Earth. He places honour and duty above his own personal safety, be that for the freedom of the Jaffa, or for the lives of those around him. Without a symbiote, Teal'c has now been driven to live off of Tretonin in order to survive. He also rarely uses whole sentences, tending to opt for those like "Indeed" and "I see".

Daniel walks into his lab. Sam folows him.

"Daniel we haven't tested it."

*Jack and Teal'c wander justs seconds after, discussing the merits of fishing

*Jack walks over to Daniel's papers, looking over some nearest to him

So what exactly is it?

"It's not dangerous. We just haven't tested to find out what it's made of. I found something like it when I was studying the artifacts from Giza. The ones found near the Stargate. I think it was important to the people............."  He looks down at the papers in his hand and trails off.

What's the matter? Have you found something that may help us?

*whispers to Carter
I think he's bored himself to sleep

Daniel looks up. "What?  Oh....No I was just reading this. It's the results from the carbondating on the artifact."

"It's older than I originally thought."

"How much older?"

"Oh a couple thousand years."

"Really? Has Kaylee seen it?"

"She hasn't been in yet today."

"She was due to be in a couple of hours ago. I'll go call her."

"Thanks Sam. Jack you don't have to stay here. If I need you for...........I'll page you."

*raises an eyebrow
I believe he is annoyed at his lack of participation in fishing due to the recent missions

*Dr McKay enters
In fact, the carbondating of the artifact would suggest is was from a time period 3,500 years prior to that previously thought. Also, the results from the other tests seem to be inconclusive.

Sam looks over at McKay as she dials. Daniel looks up at him slightly surprised. "How did you.......?"

"Kaylee please........"
