Ahh I love Martyn Pig! I am reading 'emma' by jane austen for english and 'king lear'. Emma is the best, I totally love it.

Runt: What's the color of love, Pig?
Pig: What sort of love, love?
Runt: Don't know. But you know the way things, they got a color. I wonder what the color of love is.
Pig: Jesus, Runt. You could read a thousand think books and never know the answer to that quiz.
Runt: It's be a good one to know, ah?
Pig: It'd be brilliant, Runt. It's around here somewhere.

I'm a part way through that at the moment. What I read was quite good although I couldn't see the huge appeal of it. Only thing is, I'm also part way through reading LOTR again aswell as another series of books. ::)

The series of unfortunate events no.6 - lemony snicket

Oh oh oh....are they any good?

I keep thinking I might read them (or buy them for my little sister and thennnn read them). But the energy required to order them each individually from the library, or buy them all is enormous! So I want to know whether it's worth it.

Jennifer Government by Max Barry - it's good - weird, but good.

I'm currently reading Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell by Susanna Clarke - heavy (in all senses of the word).

Well I finished 'checkmate' by Malorie Blackman, which was so well written and powerful, I cried a couple of times.. XD

Now I am reading 'fire and hemlock' by Diana Wynne Jones, which is good so far, totally random tho... ;D

Thud - Terry Pratchett... I'm glad this is out because I just have been totally uninspired to read anything lately and I miss that experience of getting into a good story :-\
