Since the old topic was kind of getting a little big and was full of people who have deleted themselves and looked messy, I have decided to start a new topic.

Basically, all you got to do is reply to this topic and say what book you are reading at the moment.  For the love of God, please do not be stupid and write things like "I am reading the TV guide" or "I am reading the forum".  We don't want to know that!

Also, when posting, try and let others know who wrote the book instead of just writing the name of the book.  If you have time, write a little description - it might get others interested!

I am currently reading Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.  This is the third time I have read it, and it needs no introduction! ;D

I am currently reading the book "Mossflower" by Brian Jaques. It is the follow up story after the book "Martin the Warrior" It's mainly about a land taken over by a tyrannical queen and how the dwellers of the forest fight back...Although it is a bit like the animals of farthing wood and watership down  :P

I just finished Eragon, by Christopher Paolini, and Dragon Rider by Cornelia Funke. Cornelia Funke, if you didn't know, also wrote The Thief Lord and Inkheart. Two amazing books.

All this has happened before, all will happen again.

"Spins and turns, angles and curves. The shape of dreams, half remembered. Slip the surly bonds of earth and touch the face of perfection - a perfect face, perfect lace. Find the perfect world for the end of Kara Thrace. End of line."

That is brilliant! Poor Lennie  ::)

You'll Stand And Face The Hounds Of Hell
Rot Inside A Corpse's Shell
And Grizzy Ghouls From Every Tomb
Are Closing In To Seal Your Doom
And Though You Fight To Stay Alive
Your Body Starts To Shiver
For No Mere Mortal Can Resist

I am currently reading The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown. I will not give too much away as there are many twists but the book is about a curator of a museum being found murdered surrounded by baffling codes which lead the characters on a journey through Da Vinci's artwork and the discovery of a secret society which unveils a truth that has been hidden for centuries. ENJOY

They paved paradise and put up a parking lot
They took all the trees and put them in a tree museum,
And they charge the people a dollar and a half just to see

I'm now reading book six of the Wheel of Time series, which is called 'Lord of Chaos'.  The series is by Robert Jordan, and the books are set in a fantasy world  :)  It follows the lives of Rand, Mat, Perrin, Egwene, Nynaeve, Elayne, and many other characters  :)

Come walk the shadows of stories with me...

I'm reading "The Hundred Days" By Patrick O'Brian - its one of the Jack Aubrey/ Stephan Maturin series on which the film "Master and Commander - the Far Side of the World" was based. The books are very very good and also historically accurate and just suck you into the lifestyle and times of the Napoleonic wars. The language is also true of that period with a lot of technical terms which make it a little hard to read at times but over all the books are fantastic!! If you liked Sharpe... ;D

Deep within us we know the Truth, the only and the all. Yet did we know we had ths knowledge within us, our minds would not be able to cope, and so we recognise the fragments we see, and each call them by a different name. Yet it is all the same, one Truth..

I'm reading A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius by Dave Eggers, a biography which is a definate change of pace for me, but I'm enjoying it a great deal...it's unbelivably tragic, it's ridiculously funny and for some strange reason, that combination really works for me. ::)
