True, true.  But the whole making out scene...good thing they're stepsiblings.  Although it's a little like Greg and Marcia Brady making out.

Good episode, however.  Not the best, but good.

And that has made all the difference.

Well, yes, it would be a whole other story if they were blood related, then I would have some issues with it and if this was real life, I would have some issues with a couple who were raised as brother and sister hooking up, but it's not real life so I can remove myself from the "ick" factor a little bit.  I think the pairing of Shannon and Sayid is bizarre, I may get used to it in time, but she just doesn't seem like someone he would be the least bit interested in.

Well, they did a bit more than just make out..  But thank goodness we didn't have to see it..   :8o  x(

Yeah, I understand what you mean, Idril..  It's not quite as gross since we know it's not real..  But still, it's weird..

Shannon and Sayid?  ???  I'm guessing that's from some spoiler you read somewhere..  :-\  Either that or a whole lot more happened in the one episode I missed than I thought..

Well, it was from a spoiler, but they did do a little bit of flirting in that last episode, enough to point the storyline in that direction.  I have no idea how involved they are supposed to get, if it's just going to stay at the flirting level or go farther, I just know they were going to start to show an interest in each other which I think they already have.

If they leave the Shannon/Boone thing where it is right now, if they don't continue to pursue a relationship, then I think it will be ok, if they flirt a lot, if Boone continues to be creepy jealous, then it's something I may get uncomfortable with at some point. ::)

Lost

« #94 : January 15, 2005, 04:15:13 AM »

lol, I'm like Idril. I normally know what all the Lost episodes are going to contained (like which character it's going to be about and if they have a huge secret or something like that) because of the Lost forum I'm on. Hearts and Minds was an okay episode. Most of the people over there on that forum were freaked out by Shannon and Boone's make out session. I agree that it was strange and even though they were stepsiblings and weren't blood related in any way, it was still a bit odd, but c'mon, this is Lost people. Strange things happen. I wasn't grosses out by it. I was actually hollering with glee when Boone thought she was dead and then felt like someone slapped me when I didn't figure out that it was a hallunciation before Boone did.

Y'all see Sawyer in the back ground getting arrested when Boone was in the police station? lol, that was funny. "Croc hunter" *laughs* I think that he had something to do with Jack's dad before he died.

Maybe Jack's dad was the man Sawyer was looking for...or maybe not... :-\

I did read in an article in Entertainment Weekly that the castaways were all connected in some way before the flight, that their stories interconnect in some way so the idea that Sawyer and Jack's dad had something to do with each other is a distinct possibility.

Yeah, but they'll probably make us wait to find that our until, like, the fifth season.     Oh, well, speculation is half the fun!

Lost

« #99 : January 22, 2005, 04:34:56 AM »

Yeah, I totally didn't see that one coming. They had us thinking that in the next episode "Homecoming" she was coming back, since it was called Homecoming and everything. Sure fooled me. I started hollering at the screen whenever she showed up and hollered even more when it ended.

Three more weeks until the new episode>_< I've heard the Claire has no recollection of anything before the crash. Good thing Charlie has her dairy though.

About the Jack's dad may be the one Sawyer was looking for. Are you saying that Jack's dad could be the real Mr. Sawyer? Yeah, that's what some people thought too. I don't know . . . I just don't see it. I think it's more like Sawyer was trying to rip him off or something before his death or something along those lines. Maybe he bought him one too many beers and then he croaked in the alley way.

Is anybody getting as tired of the whole 'Sawyer as a scavenger' thing as I am?  How many times have they had the exact same conversation, "Sawyer, we want the ____ and we know you have it, now give it to us." and then we have to have his smug little response.  I like Sawyer, I really do and I think the character can serve a much better purpose than hoarding. ::)

I totally agree, Idril..  I'm tired of it, too..  Especially since practically everytime it results in a fight..  ::)  It's gettin' rather worn out..

I like Sawyer a lot, too, and I think it's lame to have him doing the same thing all the time..

You'd think they learn by now, he didn't have the water, he didn't have Shannon's inhaler and he didn't have Claire's Diary...they need to move on now and find some other way for him to interact with the rest of the cast. ::)
