Michelle Rodriguez is joining the cast of Lost as a second-season series regular, ABC has confirmed. She's set to reprise her role as Ana-Lucia Cortez, a passenger on Oceanic Airlines flight 815 who was introduced in part one of the season finale and assigned seat 42F on the plane. No scripts have been written yet, but we can only presume this means the passengers in the back of the plane are living elsewhere on the island! :O

Says Damon Lindelof: "Michelle's character (Ana-Lucia) will be as purposefully shrouded in mystery as humanly possible. I can only assume there will be significant hunger for her backstory, but as the flashbacks have become the stealth 'franchise' of the show, giving away anything about her would amount to a significant spoiler...But we know she was sitting in the back of the plane. And we also know she's on the show next year...So, draw your own conclusions. If I were a betting man, I'd say some of those tail-folk just might have survived."

Q: Saaawyer!!! Please tell me my Southern Comfort will live and that Artz was the only character to die? Speaking of, was it wrong of me to have laughed so hard I fell off the couch?

A: You fickle pickle! I will tell you this: Malcolm David Kelley will be back to work on Lost next season. But there are definitely issues with his rapid aging (remember, each season is only 40 days).

Also, check out THIS website.  It's for the fake airline company, Oceanic, that was carrying the passengers in Lost.  Type in Hurley's numbers (4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42) in the section that says Travellers, then click 'Find'.  You get taken to a page with the seating plan.  Click on the row numbers on the flight's seating chart that match Hurley's numbers.  Something is supposed to happen (damn thing won't load for me).

I finally got that website to work, it gives a little preview for next season, although I didn't see new footage (I don't think anyway).  However it says something very interesting:

On the other side of the island they discover they aren't the survivors they thought they were.

Now what the heck does that mean?!

I think season 2 won't be aired until September/October (or maybe that's when they start filming...hmm)

This (click here) is a promo ad for season 1 (for Brit tv), thought you guys might like to see it.  It's quite different from the promo ad we got shown here in Oz, that's for sure.

No idea when it'll be shown but I think it's premiering sometime in August, so they should start the ad very soon, they usually start the promo's at least a month before the actual show starts.

I was able to download that, and it's really weird, but good!

I can't wait for it to start airing over here, it'll be a lot better to watch on the TV than a small space on a computer monitor

Ooooo! Finally I can see what all the fuss is about! All the reviews I've read have been raving about it, so I'm just itching to see it
Have to make sure I tape the episodes in later August and watch them when I come back.....ooo excited!!!

This looks really interesting, I havent seen it myself, but I was looking at some trailers recently, and was wondering what its all about.  Is this the first time its come to the UK?

I think I saw a bit of a trailer for this the other day whilst flicking through the channels on tv. From what I saw, it looked promising for being a decent program, and I definately plan to watch it. There haven't been many new programs that have been any good of late in my opinion. Going by what others have said about it though, it sounds like it shouldn't let me down.

They were meant to start airing it here in January but it kept getting postponed or something.... Glad it's gonna finally be here though. I've heard it's brilliant.
