Yeah but there all still just rumoured, and i think the basis of the rumour stems from the fact that they played those roles in lotr.
Still.. I imagine that alot of them will reprise their roles

Yeah, I read the "rumored" part on second glance.. Though it's going to be a different director (not PJ), so I don't know how good it's gonna turn out.. It will definitely have a different feel than LotR..

Yeah I think so. Guillermo del Toro's done some wierd stuff though - Blade films and Pan's Labyrinth, so it might be a bit . Atmospheric might be the best word.  Still going to go and see it as soon as it's out though, obviously.  |

I knew I recognized his name! I saw Pan's Labyrinth and thought it was good (though I wasn't expecting it to be subtitled), but a little weird as well..
But I, too, am going to go see the Hobbit as soon as it comes out..

Well we can't not really, can we? Even if we just sit there through the entire thing thinking how terrible it is, we'll still have to judge it as soon as possible. Normally it's return cinema trips that do it for me. RotK is still the only film I've ever seen 3 times at a cinema, PotC is a close 2nd as that merited 2 trips. Other than that, I just wait for DVDs, so the Hobbit will have to be damn good to get me back again. |

I lost count for how many times I saw the LotR films in the theater..
you're right though, the Hobbit will have to be really great for me to go back and see it more than once in the cinema..
