Hugh bit his lip, staring down at the ground. He might as well get it all out now, she would find out some way or another, sooner or later. He turned back to her, gently taking her hands in his. "Well, you know... you know I said I was one of your mother's friends." Hugh started out, "That's true... I think. But earlier... a long time ago.. I was more than a friend, and well..." Hugh couldn't continue, he didn't want to tell Karah. What would she think of him after that? Karah probably had friends that were as old as him!

*Karah thought for a minute. Suddenly, the next door neighbor popped into her head, talking about her dad, what he had looked like, how long ago it was and all the details. Karah suddenly clicked and moved way from Hugh slightly. She thought for a few more seconds, unsure of what she was thinking*

Hugh watched Karah's face, and slowly nodding, his gaze drifting down to the ground. "I suppose you h8te me now... and I don't blame you. I just... I just wanted to come and say I'm sorry. I know that doesn't really mean anything anymore, but... yeah." Hugh trailed off and got to his feet, running his fingers through his hair. "I suppose I should go..." A fake smile appeared on his face, and then fell away "I am sorry, Karah... truly"

*Karah stood up so she was face to face with Hugh, but he was still a little taller then her. She looked up to him. Her stared with anger*
You let me kiss you, you let me think you are a friend of my mum's and THEN you tell me you're my dad. How dare you? I can't believe you, you spend 17 years of my life running away from me, then when you do come along, you don't even tell me you're my dad!
*Karah stared at him, holding back the tears that were trying to force them selves out*

Hugh stared defiantly at Karah, nodding as Karah said what she had to say, his hands shoved into his pockets. He didn't know what to say, knew he couldn't say anything to make up for the past 17 years. "I... I missed you, Karah," He whispered, not knowing if she would hear him or not. Hugh glanced around the room, noticing the pictures of Karah and her mum. How he now wished that he had stuck around, that he had been there to see his daughter grow up

*Karah stormed out of the house, grabbing a jumper on the way out. She put it on as she walked up the street, thinking about what happened tonight. She had ingnored Jack because she fell in love with this stranger. She had to find him. She thought about where he might have gone. Probably to Ben's house. She didn't really want to go there now, he was probably still majorly annoyed with her. She sighed. It was her birthday and everything was going wrong*

Ben fell out of the taxi follwed by Jack and they walked up to Jack's house "You find the lock ok?" he asked giggly "Seriously Mate she'll come around.." he stopped, some random guy passed Jack's house staring at Ben like they normally did "HEY YOU GOT A PROBLEM!!!" Ben bellowed at him, He was so drunk he could normally control himself but tonight was a different story
"YA I HAVE ACTUALLY!! YOUR UGLY FACE!!" The man walked up to Ben threateningly. "Come on then!!" Ben walked right up to this guy there nose's barly apart. Ben threw his coat on the ground and marched up to him again "You first"
The guy threw a punch, which missed and hit Ben's shoulder, Ben laughed at him before thrusting his fist into the guys face.
Ben stood over him glaring down at him "Sorry what did you say" he spat down on him "WHAT DID YOU SAY!!!"
"Get off me" The guy threw Ben off him and pushed him agressivly before walking off wiping his bleeding lip. Shouting offencive things over his should Ben went to jump him from behind before he heard Jack telling him no.

Ben bed his fist "Sorry about that..." He didn't know what was wrong with him tonight, he was never normally this violent when it came to the subject of the mark on his face, First the fight he nearly got into at Karah's party now the one he just had.

*Karah carried on walking. She didn't want to look back. She put her turned her collar up as the wind blew. She looked up the street. She sighed, Jack's house was coming up, she didn't know if she could even face walking passed it. She heard some yelling, but ignored it, what was the point, probably some drunks having a fight*

Jack looked at Ben and frowned "Inside now!" He said as he grabbed him to the collar of the coat and half dragged him into the house. He slammed the door behind him. Causing his mother to shout something which Jack ignored He rushed to his room and frowned "Ben..." He shook his head "Dude I have told you....dont take any notice of loosers like that guy.."

*Karah sighed as she looked down at the street. She then looked back over the road to where the fight had just happened. Right outside Jack's house. She thought back to how much alcohol Jack had at the party, maybe it was Jack who just had that fight. She looked both ways up the street, no cars were coming, so she crossed. She looked up at Jack's house quickly*

Ben groaned angrly as he got dragged into Jack's house by the scruff of his neck, Ben still full of rage glared at Jack "Ya ya no it's hard!! I Mean look at you! Youv'e got a stunning house, loving family, great friends..and Just look at you, You haven't got a thing on your face that shouts "FREAK" when people stare at you! You don't have people day in a day out glaring at you, pointing at you kid's saying "Whats up with that mans face mummy?"..." Ben walked into the kitchen before muttering "You don't know what its like..." Ben had never spoke about his appearance like this before, how much it effected him that he thought that know one would or could ever love him for what he looked like and the fact that nothing could be done about it..

Jack followed his friend silently into the kitchen and sat himself down on the stool beside the work top. He didnt know what to say. What could he say to make his friend feel better? He was still slightly drunk and his words were mixed. "Mate..dont put yourself down man...come off it...we have had too much to drink and we aint thinking straight right..." He thought what next to say. But infact he was in shock over the way Ben had acted. He had never seen him this aggresive before
