read (almost) all of Tolkiens works (at least all of them about Middle Earth) and saw all ROTK EE's (though don't have ROTK EE yet because i'm broke. )

I read LOTR trilogy 12 times
Hobbit 6 times
Sil 5 times
Unfinished Tales 5 times
the little book about the Tales (don't know the name) 2 times
the little appendices book on LOTR 1 time
Tolkien Bestiary (sp?) 1 time

started to read when about 10, now i'm 16

Life it seems, will fade away
Drifting further every day
Getting lost within myself
Nothing matters no one else
I have lost the will to live
Simply nothing more to give
There is nothing more for me
Need the end to set me free

No one but me can save myself, but it to late
Now I can't think, think why I should even try
Yesterday seems as though it never existed
Death Greets me warm, now I will just say good-bye

I've read all three in the trilogy and watched (countless times) all three movies, including the extended editions of them all.. Actually, only watched EE RotK once so far, but it's still early.. ::)

I've also read the Hobbit several times.. I've got some of Tolkien's other works but haven't read them yet.. I've looked at the Silmarillion, but not been brave enough to attempt it yet.. :-\

Call me a non-purist Tolkien fan, but I also didn't begin reading the books until after the movies.. I watched FotR then read it.. Watched TT then read it.. Watched RotK then read it.. Though I did read the Hobbit before the movies came out..

I've also read some of Tolkien's Father Christmas letters.. I gave that book to my mother as a gift a year or so ago.. :)

Well, I've read the LOTR many times. I've read the Silmarillion and Unfinished Tales a few times, the Hobbit I've read a few times too. I've read most of his other smaller writings such as The Adventures of Tom Bombadil and Farmer Giles, etc. I own all these books too, plus the entire History of Middle Earth in the 12 Separate volumes, and the 13th Index one. I own both the Theatrical and Extended versions of all 3 movies, and the collectors items that came with the EE's, I have the official mugs of all the three movies, plus maps and Atlas's of middle earth. Oh, and I own a full size replica of Narsil.

Same here.. :D The mugs I own are actually the four glass goblets that came out at Burger King when the Fellowship was out in theaters, they have lights in the base of them.. I also own one mug that has Frodo on it..

& I, too, own Narsil.. Bought it from The Noble Collection..

ah see i'm really glad that i read the books first because then i did already have the characters looks and things imprinted in my mind. In that case i'm.....really, really glad i read fotr at least before seeing the bashki cartoon because otherwise ...ahahaha.... sam is so ugly, legolas is a fairy, boromir is a viking, aragorn wears a miniskirt....its some bad sh*t guys. :8o

Time slowed, reality bent, on and on the eggman went

Hey," said Shadow."Huginn or Muninn, or whoever you are. The bird turned, head tipped, suspiciously, on one side, and it stared at him with bright eyes "Say neverermore" said Shadow. "F**k you," said the raven. It said nothing else as they went through the woodland together.

you might think that its cool to get up on stage
and play rock and roll from your heart and soul
but no one shows up and your songs all suck

no girls will scream for you and no ones gonna sing along with you

Oh well. Seems like a good a place to start as any.

Read LOTR many times (usually do about every 18 months)
Read the Hobbit countless times
Own and seen the EE (FOTR many times, TT equally as many, ROTK only a couple so far)

Silmarillion.....not yet. Just need to avail myself of a copy.

I've read LotR and seen the EE's.

(I've also read the Hobbit and Unfinished Tales, so I'm on my way of becoming a "read all of Tolkien's works and seen the EE's")
