What Happens If?

Okay, here goes.
Basically, in this game you have to come up with an event from either the LOTR movies or books, and say what if?
eg: What would happen if Sam had not gone with Frodo to Mordor?

The next person then answers and asks another question.
You can also make up events, say like: What  would happen if Gollum had been a girl? and so forth.

Only one rule applys: The quessies must by Tolkien related

So, I´ll begin:

What would happen if Merry & Pippin had not followed Frodo to Rivendell?

then isenguard would've remained because the ents wouldnt have gone to war, and also it wouldnt be as funny

what if the fellowship formed a folk band

THen the people of middle Earth would have gone mad because of Gandalf's scratchy singing. Or they would've become famous. Either way.....



What if Bilbo hadn't "adopted" Frodo?

Then he wouldnt have passed the ring onto him, and middle earth would have been destroyed.

What if Eowyn hadnt followed the men into battle?

Then Merry wouldn't have gone to the Pellenor Fields and wouldn't have met up wth Pippin and Gandalf and the Witch-King wouldn't have been destroyed so the Fell Beast would have had a tasty meal of Flesh of Theoden!!!

What if... Aragorn decided he couldn't be arsed to go to battle again and didn't lead out the 'diversion' to the Black Gate?

Then Frodo and Sam would never have made it through all the orcs, would have been caught and torured and Sauron would have gotten the ring.

What if, no one came to save Frodo when he was stabbed?

what if sam never decided to rescue frodo after he was stabbed by shelob and taken away by the orcs?

Then Frodo would have been killed, and Sam, trying to reach the Cracks of Doom to destroy the Ring would have been corrpted and all would fall......

what would happen if Gandalf had not been able to revive Pippin after his ordeal with the palantir?

Then they'd basically be screwed as they wouldn't know about the siege intended on Gondor and so on.

What if Spiderman was Gollum? (sorry for the lameo suggestion but that's all I've got in my head)

Then Gondor would have become run down, and all the great decisions our good 'ole Aragorn made would have been shot to bugger!

what would happen if Pippin never found Merry near that dead Mumakil?

then Aragorn would not have got to him in time and tragically would have died

what would have happened if the Easterlings rode giant snails instead of elephants

Then it would take a very long time for them to get anywhere...
