Your beverage of choice?

Starbucks makes a canned energy drink. I can't remember just what it's called, but my boss had a huge can of it and gave me a bit to taste. It's like iced turkish coffee with a hint of mocha. I'm trying to figure out how to make it at home.

I kind of invented a healthy smoothie last summer. Basically it starts with powdered protein shake mix called Designer Whey. I get the chocolate kind, mix up a half-cup portion of it with skim milk and add it to a blender half-filled with crushed ice. I toss in a packet or two of stevia powder for extra sweetness, a heaping spoon of organic  nut butter for more protein, a banana for potassium and maybe a spoon full of turkish coffee powder for added buzzbuzzbuzz.  Blend it all up and chug it down before going to Zumba or hockey practice and I don't come back down to Earth for six whole hours.

Mountain Dew - 124g sugar per litre - nope not tried it and not planning too.  My secret indulgence is a Flat White from Starbucks - coffee, just the right amout of foam and a different decoration from each barrista.

  Yeah, Mtn Dew is a bit on the sweet side.. 

  I don't really care for Starbucks..  If I get anything from there it's a caramel frappucino..

I would LIKE to frequent Starbuck's more, but I'm just working-class so I get the various coffee drinks from McDonalds. I call their cafe either "Our-bucks" or "Starbucks for the 99%"

When I first heard McD's was getting into the fancy-coffee market, I thought they were nuts and that it would not be very good. I remember how their coffee used to be. It was very hot, very black, and tasted of ashtray water (so I've been told). Their new coffee is pretty good for the price. I only wish they had the dessert menu Starbuck's has. I would kill right now for a toffee brownie or some of their signature lemon pound cake.

Favourite beverage (non alcoholic) has to be a large Costa cappucino with extra shot (at the moment anyway) - I can't stand Starbucks for the most part - it's expensive and the coffee isn't strong enough.
Alcoholic beverage has to be a large double gin and tonic or a good red wine! Quite like beer too.
I don't really drink that often.

I'm going with Chai latte from Starbucks, white hot chocolate from mcds (only in Europe)  and snowball for an alcoholic one!!  Or a glass of 'naked'!!!!

The orange hot chocs are great, with the yummy disc on the top!!  I'm sure you could do some naked now hun xd

the water up here in scotland is soft so nice to drink.i love hot chocolate,herbal teas,red wine and quite fond of brandy.
J D with honey is nice too i take it straight or in fresh orange.xxx
