  Having enough money to pay bills and keep the heat turned on would be nice.. 

  We've not actually had the electricity turned off, but one winter a car rammed a light post and made a transformer explode and we were without power for a couple days while they fixed it..  It was FREEZING!

We started without Money growing
Up and we had the best times I used to get a certain amount of money and I could pick what I wanted for Christmas within this amount which helped me learn to prioritise I guess.. With my little boy he has 3 sets of grandparents and he's the first grandchild for all so you can imagine he is spoiled by them but we are curving it now preparing for the new addition and he's really excited he uses his pocket money (grandparents again lol) and says can we buy this for the baby ect lol so cute

That's what I mean by how much you need Theo. I mean, obviously we all want to live comfortably and there's nothing wrong with that; I just mainly have issue with buying myself gifts like clothes, shoes, things I consider frivolous. I would rather get something for Damien, or donate it to a friend to help with their albums, etc (i know a lot of musicians).

I'm surrounded by people who feel the same, too. A few months ago, my friend's home burnt down. A group of us got together, donated and asked around, and raised $10,000 to help with the rebuild. Then we put together a ringbinder full of pictures and memories for her to help replace some which she lost in the fire and remind her that it didn't all vanish. Just seeing how much that helped her was gift enough for me :]

And aww new baby ^^ I bet he'll be a great big bro!

  Our church did that for a family in the congregation whose house burned down..  We got them clothes, food, bedding..  Things that they needed..  It was a big blessing for those receiving and those giving..

Warms my heart to know that not everyone nowadays has lost their basic human compassion ^^

  I know what you mean..  It was a great outreach..  We actually had a family transfer from their home church to ours after they heard what we had done for that family who lost everything in the fire..

  Well, those people don't have their priorities in the right order..

Money often causes trouble and it can't buy the most important things in life, it's just nice to have some

  This is true..  It'd be nice to have a little spending money after paying all the bills and utilities..
