The smilies have certainly gotten more interesting since I joined...I watch them sometimes, lol.  Strangely enough, I don't much remember when Blades owned it...   Oh well...I'm glad I found this site, just by playing around with the internet at my high school...I didn't actually expect to find a lordoftherings.co.uk.  I'm glad I did.

This place went down the tubes quick during the Blades UK era...and I say that even though I had admin status here for a short time.

Who here remembers the stupid Member Council that got formed to establish something like a judicial system?  IIRC they never got the chance to do a darn thing.  Who here remembers all the nonsense about the mod-logs? 

When Lordy and Denise were here, being a mod was fun. But after they left it became more like a job.  That was around the time I left..and not so nicely.

Yeah..it's much better now.  Alot of the quality people have eventually turned back up.

I keep hoping I'll see Lalaith, Elbereth and Theo in here on a semi-regular basis again some day.  Whoo-howdy those were the days.. the Midnight Mafia.. American girls gone wild!

Anyone remember the mad Xmen roleplay that was like...200 pages long?? Methinks some of us got slightly obsessed lol. Was it Blades that got rid of the roleplaying?? I was so gutted. they were rubbish.
