Uh well its a long story. I used to have it and I completed it really quickly. So my brother traded it for a different game. I loved it and forgot what happened So I've borrowed it off a friend, and I'm just before the Blitzball tournament.... and I'm sure Im gonna lose

Weeeeeeeeeeeell thought I'd better appear in here. Love FFX though I only jus got Yuna's Nirvana activated...though now I don't need anyone else in the party. She pwns everything with it!! The monster arena is a pain in the backside. Anyone done that yet? Can't wait for XII to come out!!!

I haven't played Final Fantasy before, is it good?

It's brilliant!

FFXII! *Bounces* And I know that's not even out yet but FFXIII has officially been announced for the PS3 and it looks awesome. *Bounces even higher!* Not to mention, it's going to be a compilation (Fabula Nova Crystallis) so there's going to be more than one game.

PS3!!?? No!! Aw no! I only have a PS2!! OMG

RIGHT, I'm calling all my family together to chip in so i can get i--... Wait... It's my birthday soon...

Interestingly, in a very recent countrywide poll, the nation of Japan voted Final Fantasy X as the greatest game of all time in a top 100 list that was made up. FFVII was second and one of the Dragon Quest games on a Nintendo system was third.


I love FFX, alot of people criticise the game for it's use of acting because it seems to pull away from the text based early RPGs, but you know what, I love the acting, and understand just how bloody hard it was to get everything right, especially given that the lip syncing was exclusively Japanese. Alot of lines had to be condensed into short seconds, which is a strange pacing for us European types!!


Another criticism is the linear attitude of the game, the fact that the most part of the game feels like you're being led "on rails" rather than freeform exploring like the rest before it. Still, I think it's good, the way the game was made it makes more sense to do away with the world map and focus on the journey rather than the world, it sets your path a lot easier, makes the journey feel alot longer and more testing for the characters and generally feels fresh everywhere you go. Great story, good acting, the best graphics on the PS2 to date(with the possible competition from MGS3), loads to do, loads of content and memorable characters that could have their own gaming series in it's own right! (And judging from just how damn good FFX-2 is, it deserves it.)

They absolutly HAVE to remake FFVII in better graphics, you cannot leave possibly the best game in the history of games looking like LEGO!!!

Yeah I love DoC... but I get really hyper during it because I find everything funny I burst out laughing when I saw Vincent's wine glass
