Banners, Sigs, Avs, etc.

I was thinking what if we had a kind of "Classifieds" ad for people to request Sigs, avs, Banners and the like?                                               (^I think that's right)

I know thats there but if someone wants a sig or something and they don't have any pics they could put something up asking for someone with lots of pics. And sometimes one or two people get so many requests that they don't have time.

Well, I dont know about other sig makers, I can only answer for myself when I say I would rather be approached by someone to make a sig or av for them, than asking them if they want me to make one for them.  Am I making sense now? 

Dont like the idea of advertising myself personally... but like I said, I can only speak for my own point of view.  I dont know how the others feel about it.

Well no one would have to do it if they didn't want to. I just know that some people get a lot of people asking for sigs and avs and others don't but are very good at making them. Some people just don't get a chance. I'm not saying that those people that get all the requests are hogging everyone It's just I thought it was an interesting idea and it might be interesting to just try it for a while and see how it works and if it doesn't  then thats that.

What we could do is get those who make sigs to display their sigs etc on their homepages... then make a topic here where there are links to those homepages, for ppl who want to see

OR... we could make more use of the Gallery and create a Sig Pic Gallery for ppl to put the pics in....

I'll set up a seperate gallery within the main one, so that ppl can just add their sigs under their own name

they members can peruse at will

ive added another main gallery to the Gallery

where you can add your sigpics.

At the moment I cant get it to automatically create a sub album in that Gallery, so just add your pics and I'll sort the rest out when I login

Right, I'm not sure if this was what you meant above, but I couldn't create my own album in the Signatures gallery, so I just left it floating around as a random item.
