Oookay.. I know y'all are expecting.. mayhaps demanding that I do a bio of Smeagol.

Well... sorry to disappoint ya.

It's been a long time coming, but Smeagol and I have filed for an anullment.  IT was only a matter of time before he found out about the orcs...what with the forthcoming book and all..*shrug*

Anyway, I decided to do Ugluk.

Little is known about Ugluk, save for his name, rank, a fair number of quotable quotes, and of his unfortunate demise at the swordpoint of Eomer and his Riders of Rohan.

He was Captain of the band of Orcs of the White Hand who captured Merry and Pippin. Being one of Saruman's Uruk-hai, he was bred for endurance and oddly enough, intelligence. While by no means a pillar of wits and charisma, it's evident how he rose in rank amoung his peers. He was smarter than your avearge orc.  A self-proclaimed servant of Saruman the Wse, a true advocate for the medicinal merits of orc-draught, and versed in the application of thug-tactics, he is what all orcs should aspire to be, though he may be best remembered by this orcish curse. "Uglúk u bagronk sha pushdug Saruman-glob búbhosh skai"  ("Uglûk to the cesspool, sha! the dungfilth; the great Saruman-fool, skai!").  He lived like an orc, died like an orc, and was cursed like an orc; deserving of iconic status that has thusfar been denied him.

Éowyn

Éowyn and her older brother Éomer were the children of Éomund and Théodwyn. Théodwyn was the only sister of Théoden, making Théoden their uncle. After their father was killed by orcs and their mother died from illness, they were adopted by their uncle.
Éowyn had to watch her Uncle become weaker by the day under Saruman's spells and put up with Gríma constantly haunting her footsteps. The arrival of Gandal, Gimli, Legolas and Aragorn in Edoras ensured that Théoden was released from Saruman's power.
Éowyn was left behind in Edoras to see her people to the safety of Dunharrow, while the others headed to Isengard for an attack.
Éowyn wanted to go with Aragorn on the Paths of the Dead, but he wouldn't let her. Refusing to be left behind by either Aragorn or her uncle Théoden, Éowyn disguised herself as a young male knight named "Dernhelm" and carried Merry into battle with her.
At the Battle of the Pelennor Fields, Éowyn confronted the Witch-King of Angmar, and with Merry's help, defeated him.
After being harmed in battle, Éowyn was taken to the Houses of Healing, where she met Faramir. They spent a lot of time talking together and soon after Faramir told her he loved her, Éowyn soon returned his love.
After Aragorn was crowned King, he installed Faramir as Prince of Ithilien. Faramir and Éowyn were married, and lived out their days in the hills of Emyn Arnen in Ithilien. The couple had one child together.

A marchwarden of the Galadhrim of Lórien, who guarded its northern borders with his brothers Rúmil and Orophin. When the Fellowship arrived there after fleeing Moria, he became their guide and led them to Caras Galadhon.
for the record...DOES NOT appear in the literary version of the Two Towers or anywhere NEAR helms deep. (but i still cry)
