Still Howards End *screams* oh and The Brothers Karamazov by Dostoyevsky.
I loved
Howards End but then again, I'm a sucker for old British novels...and
The Brothers Karamazov...you have my sympathy

, the characters were fascinating and the story was compelling, but there is so much unecessary blathering going on, if Dostoevsky could've stayed a little more focused, I think it would've been a wonderful book.
I've been in something of a rereading frenzy, it started of with ROTK, then I zipped through FOTR, then I moved on to
Mort by Terry Pratchett, I started rereading
The Long Dark Tea Time of the Soul by Douglas Adams, but I got distracted by
The Forsyte Saga by John Galsworthy. Maybe when I'm done with that I'll read something new.
