The choices of Hobbits and Elves

It's been a year since the ring has been destroyed and before now everyone was at peace but now men are turning against eachother, they are losing faith and will stand and fight alone. Rohan and Gondor are at war beacuse the relationship between Eowyn and Faramir ended, since then they have nothing but hatred for eachother and are showing no mercy for their once so good friends, is anyone going to help? Are the Hobbits and Elves going to let the men of Gondor and Rohan waste away? They have a very big desision to make and if they decide not to help all will be lost for these once strong cities of friendship.
