Title: Film music - please help
Post by: Ancorla on April 20, 2007, 01:50:44 AM
I need the name of the song which plays the Charge of the rohirrim on the pelennor fields, as the camera pans to the fantastic shot where we see the sun rising in the background with the whole host of the Rohirrim at the front.
Thanks!

Im pretty sure its called the Ride of the Rohirrim...

you can find 30 secs clips online of it.. tho most of the song gets going further into the scene!

I downloaded that one, but it's not it =( Its very close, but the song I want only features very shortly in the charge of the rohirrim section of the film, literaly just for the panning shot of the Rohirrim about to charge with the sun setting behind the mountains in the background. Thanks!

I think EG was right in saying it's the Ride of Rohirrim, but I think you'll need the version from The Complete Recordings (the TROTK version is not out yet), as the ones on the standard CD are significantly changed form how they were on film.
