I've been coming back sporadically fo' sho' usually when something reminds me of this site.

Por ejemplo I was just watching the Behind the Scenes videos from the Hobbit and the music was makin' me all nostalgic and emotional  :'(

I will RETURN unlike usually when I forget  :[

I'm an embarrassment :bd:

Definitely sporadic on my account... Think I've managed about once a year for the last three or four - as you say, when something reminds me of the site! (in this case, watching TTT:EE!) sad to see just how quiet the forum has got. But maybe with the advent of the new films next year, it'll pick up? Sincerely hope so.

Has anyone had good holidays this year? Other half and I just got back from hiking in the mountains... And not because I'm a LoTR nut, but I walk barefoot - so with cut off linen pants and shortish curly hair, was doing a great impersonation of a hobbit! :D felt very like Frodo and Sam in Emyn Muil when we were coming down a particularly difficult mountain in the mist... And after we reached the alm, there, standing in a small group, three beautiful grey ponies appeared out of the mist. It was like walkling in to Rohan... And they were so friendly! We got licked all over... Though that might have been because they could smell the chocolate in our pockets!

I get in here maybe once a year. This time I came around when I decided (on a total whim) to see if this site had an affiliated page on Facebook. It did indeed, and I came here to nose around a bit.

Sad to see it so quiet...but I'd gladly take this kind of sadness over the teeth-grinding anger I used to experience when the forum seemed to be a gathering-place for trolls and other assorted jackasses.

PS has anybody seen or heard from EG?

  I had a hysterectomy..  :)  Heavy periods and severe cramps were the reason I had the surgery (plus a few other reasons)..
