  Also, about me...  I have a pen pal that's, like, 50 years my senior..  But she's a nice lady and it brightens her day to receive mail from me..  And it's nice to know someone is praying for me and my family..

Letters...actually hand-written letters..are so much fun to get and send.

Point of fact I'm probably kind of rare these days in that I have a whole shoe box full of love letters that I got from the Mister back when we were dating. It didn't matter that I saw him every few days and often talked with him on the phone. He STILL sent me little love notes..and after we got married I would sometimes pack a li'l sweet-nothing in his lunch bag, even if it was just a Posty-Note with "Love yooouuu." written on.

  I like snail mail, it's so old fashioned..    Makes you feel a bit connected to something old and mysterious, doesn't it?
