Bruce was my one true love. The one I thought would never leave. One night was all I had to save him. I saw his death, over and over in my mind when I was with him one night. When I told him, he said that he would stop, even if it meant locking himself in his bedroom. The night he died, he was lured out of his room and outside, were he thought I was. Of course it wasn't me, it was a vampire. Suddenly, I got this bad feeling. I ran to his house only to be held to watch by a vampire. The other vampire slowly bit in to Bruce's neck and as I watched, Bruce's life drained away from him. The vampire's left me in pieces and that night was the night my heart died. I held in my arms and cried like a baby for months after. After that, I promised myself I wouldn't get involved with anyone
-Kia let the last word out with hate for herself. This was all her fault, she shouldn't have let her guard down and let him in-

David watched her sadly, and looked down. "Im sorry..." he said and looked up, smiling weakly. "Come on," he said. "We should move on," he said, pretending to be ok, when in truth he just died inside. She wouldn't get involved with anone...

-Kia thought. Or was he? He was bitten by a vampire, maybe he became one of them. She couldn't say for certain, there were millions of guys with the same eyes as Bruce...but Bruce was the only one that looked at her like that.She sighed with frustration. It wasn't Bruce, Bruce is dead, he;s not coming back, not now, not ever-

-Kia wanted food. She knew that it would spoil her figure, but what did she care, few sit-ups, bit of working out and that would be it. She smiled as she picked up a plate of chips, then a plate with a cake on it. Then to top it all off a can of coke, just the sugar boost she needed. She paid and sat down somewhere. She didn't see where David had sat, and at the moment, it was porbably best for her to be a lone for a bit. She started to eat her chips while looking around at all the people-

David watched Kia from the courner of his eye. The way she moved, alked. It drove him mad. He wanted to walk over to her an... he shook his head crossly at his on thoughts, and gritted his fist.

David knew that he should walk out, leave. The people here would look after her, take care of her. She would be safe here. His musles clenched, ready to tun and walk out, leave the city and start a new life. But he couldn't. He couldn't just abandon her. Why? he asked himself but  his shattered heart told him the answer. She made him feel whole... complete... No matter what happened... he loved her. Slowly, he stood up, pushing all thoughts out of his head. He had a fight to prepare for and he was pritty sure it would be his last.

She smiled as she remembered that was what Bruce used to do. She sighed and looked over at David. Who did she love, her dead lover? Or the guy standing right infront of her? She didn't know-

David glanced at her and tore his gaze away, quickly getting into a conversation with a couple who where comming on the hunt with them tonight. He turned to follow them out of the hall, but stopped, and turned, waiting her Kia.
