Does anybody else here paint models such as Warhammer, D&D, Warmachine, or other companies' miniatures?  I know there's plenty of folks here who play Games Workshop's LoTR tabletop games, and it might be fun to see what other people like to paint.

I used to but recently its taken a backseat to my music and I rarely have time to do anything.
It used to be mainly the warhammer stuff though if i saw a particular model I liked from another company then I would paint it  :D

I hate to ruin the magic
I hate to kill the dream
but once you've been behind the scenes then you'll know just what I mean
you might think that its cool to get up on stage
and play rock and roll from your heart and soul
but no one shows up and your songs all suck
and theres no applause and no flying bras
no girls will scream for you and no ones gonna sing along with you

Sweet!  I'm getting the suspicion you're a fan of orcs/space orks?

I've been building an orc army for a few years, but up until recently I've got somebody else to paint mine for me. Somewhere in my piles of minis I have a space ork painted by one of my fried's little brother.  Those guys look so cool.

a couple of years back i went out almost ever weekend and brought more space maries

the when the lotr collection came out i collected those and paited them up

but i havent done anything like that for a while now, not really my kind of thing

GW but isnt that a pc game?

because most of the people from this server i'm on have left to go and play that until a new mod for freelancer comes out.

Yeah it stands for either Games workshop which is the company that makes and sells warhammer stuff
or Guildwars the MMORPG which is very similar to World of Warcraft

yeah i was thinking about that earlyer and i though why would he be talking about a pc game in a painting thread.

OFF TOPIC: yeah i've seen a load of screenies for it, trying to decide if i should get it or not
