Plot: A Jewish family living in a ordinary american home have a lot history, including the grandfather was a Polish Jewish worker at one of the concerntration camps. He found love and they immigrated to America. They had a son soon after being married. They're son grew up and got married to a sweet Jewish girl. Then they had a daughter. Currently, the daughter is a teen, growing up with her best friend. Soon, a new guy moves into town and her best friend's brother befriends him. She instantly falls for him and soon they date. But when her grandfather finds out he is German, he throws him out and forbids his granddaughter to see him. Her mother starts to sympathise and tries to help her see him and her dad agrees with her grandfather.

But when her grandfather kicks him out the house Isabelle can't take it and doesn't speak to anyone apart from her best friend.
