Thanks for taking part in my little survey. Just curious to see how much aggravation you would be ready to take from your boss or other for a LOTR charity event.
Unfortunately, there is no big prize at the end of the pole, but maybe a surprise for the summer for all of you if you answered with your heart!

It would mostly depend on where it was for me, and how far into summer.
Early summer-not really, late summer-possibly.

So, if I said now that the event was to be set in October,  on a Seturday and Sunday in a lovely and significant loaction the Oxford area?

Would that help the cause?

Well it would depend - it may clash with Oxonmoot. I need to check when it is.

Oxomoot is more likely to happen over a week-end around the 22nd of September so do not worry, it will nto clash. Besides, I can now say that there is 99% chances for the Tolkien Society to be part of the charity event. I will not say no more...

I HAVE TO SAY THAT SHE DOES LOOK LIKE SHE IS BEING ELECTROCUTED; AT THE BEST PETRIFIED WITH CHRISTMAS LIGHTS ON.

I hope that you mean on the entertainment side if we are talking about Queen Mama? I can see Gladriel throwing all kind of parties just for the sake of having a glass of champagne as the extention of her right hand and canapés in the left one.... Waiiii.... Party Girl!

Do you think that she is abusing of her subjects money or that she is being a very understanding and down to her people kind of Queen Mum of the early days?

As Oxford is literally just up the road it wouldnt take much to get me there

I also spent all my College years in Oxford EG heck the pub was across the carpark from the College

Excellent News! Thank you Elecyla! I have to say that I love Oxford and that I do go there as often as I can. I wish I did my degree in such an environment but there is no Costume and Technical Fx Degree in Oxford or even........ Cambridge (please, don't lynch me Oxford graduates of this forum.... I like Cambridge too, I leave at equi-distance from both cities).

Anyway, Yes Galadriel can give that sort of "Oh..; look, I am the wisest, the oldest, So listen to me, and I am quite mysterious an'all"

Elrond is OK, a bit too serious too at times,but with Galadriel for a Mother in Law who would not be

So guys, we all well on our way so keep voting! "Put Your Passion in Motion in 2006" (Official T-Shirts for one of the most memorable Lord of the Rings Charity event, they are produced at this very minute) and a Super Graphic too! But I will say no more once again.
