He barely answers letters anymore. I'm in some autograph's collectors forum and apparently he kind of stopped signing through the mail. He has a secretery that signs his letters and even she doesn't always respond LOL

I wrote to Billy Boyd and Ian McKellen about 6 weeks ago using the address' on the front page of this topic and I'd never wrote to actors before so thought I'd just give it a go. Well, I got a beautiful signed b&w pic from Billy Boyd on saturday there and one from Ian McKellen today (same as the pic aniviel has scanned)

My Dad was on an plane with Sir Ian McKellen and Orlando Bloom an he didn't know why people kept going up to them, untill the lady next to him told him an even then he still didn't know who they were or get there autographs!    Fool!

I met John Rhys Davies, and got his autograph, when he was filming a movie in Croatia! He seems a really nice guy!!!!
Have never tried writing to celebrities... What chances do i have of getting a response from Sir Ian McKellen if im outside UK?
