You'll Stand And Face The Hounds Of Hell
Rot Inside A Corpse's Shell
And Grizzy Ghouls From Every Tomb
Are Closing In To Seal Your Doom
And Though You Fight To Stay Alive
Your Body Starts To Shiver
For No Mere Mortal Can Resist
The Evil Of The Gilly

From what I can remember.

Zack was in SOLDIER, not Cloud, Cloud was only a Shinra soldier. Both are experimented on, and they break free. Zack is killed by Shinra soldiers and Cloud is left for dead, outside Midgar.

Cloud inhabits some of Zacks memories, partly through his own embarrasment and lies, but remembers what really happened 5 years ago in nibleheim when Tifa helps him in the lifestream.

If you play the game again you can notice tifa never confirms anything he says, most of it is "..." or "I can't remember"  :)

Zack also went out with Aeris for a while, probably shagged the guts out of her while he was at it, but thats why she is "attracted" to cloud at the start, he looks similar to Zack, acts similar, all that.

Only SOLDIER's where exposed to Mako, but Cloud was different, he was exposed to mako through experiments, which is why he is able to pass for a SOLDIER.. (they always mention his glowing eyes)

I might be wrong somewhere though

How much is Final Fantasy online monthly?

$9.95, I think. Not sure what that is in pounds, but it's not bad value, I suppose. But I hear there's a connection fee or something? O.o I have the game but the second my parents found out there's a monthly fee, they said "NO". And I don't see much point in having the game if I can't play it. :| I guess I could sell it...

One content ID (account and 1 character) is £6 a month basically, every other character you create costs an extra 50p montly, then with the transaction of USD and Sterling, another 50p is added, roughly.

It's worth the money, I should play it more.

It's a decent game, but very hard.

Big community, you are put on a random server according to your CD key, but if you have a mate playing the game and want on thier server, they can buy a worldpass that you put in while your registering your character, and youll be on that server. For example, I'm originally on the Carbuncle server, but I knew someone on Ramuh and they bought be a worldpass so I could make a new character on Ramuh. (Server names are named after summons throughout the series)

It's a job based game. You start with a choice of Black mage, white mage, warrior, and so on, but after you reach level 30 you can unlock the other jobs, like Dark Knight, Paladin and so on. At level 18 you have a Main job and a sub job. For example, if you want to be a black mage that can heal yourself, you can be a Black mage, and a White as sub. The Sub job can only be half of the main jobs level, so if your a level 30 BLM, your white subbed job will be 15. You have to level them all up individually. Leveling in the game takes a LOT of time. You can get from 1 to 10 in a day but after that you will need to join parties to get to the higher levels.

Getting money in the game is pretty hard, but you can buy cheap items on auction (thats how people get thier items, NEVER USE SHOPS), but you can also sell things on auction to make money, highest bidder gets the item.

The world, wow, its huge, brilliant graphics, it really IS another world. The maps are unbelievably huge. It takes me 30 minutes to run from Bastok to the other major city San D'oria. And enemies along the way are unbelievably hard and they WILL chase you. At level 20 you can get around faster on a chocobo though, and to other islands by airship and boat. Airships and boats are in real time, so you may have to wait 20 minutes on the next flight, and spend 10 minutes on the actual thing passing over the huge maps.

Normally you can get helpful higher levels that run around helping lower ones get from place to place and so on, and there are groups called Linkshells, basically its a group of people, the linkshell lets them communicate no matter where they are over the world.

The game is nothing like other RPGs, for example, Diablo 2 where you can use a town portal anywhere in the world to get back to town, you cant do that in FFXI. you have to RUN each place. If you want to go to the Valkrum Dunes to level up you need to travel there, if you want to go back to a city, you need to travel back. Although some people will set thier home points at a certain spot where they may want to travel back too and just let a monster kill them (even losing EXP to do this), to save the travelling, but the downfall to this is if you die and didnt want too, your stuck way over at the other side of the world perhaps and you'll just make your party kick you out because it would take too long to get there.
