The default site theme has been updated for the SMF format. You will notice that the little moving arrows, next to the Main ¦ Home ¦ etc bar, when clicked on will shrink and unshrink the information boxes  |

The Hobbiton theme is awesome! 
Though even with a fast connection like mine it was a little messed up by the animated buttons at the top of the page..

I agree....they were a little slow on loading for me too That's going to be killer on dial ups |

I think the Hobbit theme is brilliant! *changes to it immediately* However, even though I think the animated buttons are cool, they do slow it right down, and I have a fast connection. I think that people with dial up wouldnt be able to use it at all. Shame, cos the buttons are really good. But, imo it would be impractical to keep them.  |

yeah... well maybe I can make 2 versions... one with the animations, for those who can cope! I downsized the one animation remaining too.. and it doesnt seem to hvae taken away its effect... so that may be one way round it dunno... the whole theme is graphic heavy |

Even people on faster connections were experiencing problems with the time it took for them all to download....each image was around 170k each. It might not have been so bad for people who are on 1 megabyte (or better) connections, but it certain was dragging with a 512k connection |

yeah Im on a 2meg connection. Not all were that large... anyway, Ive halved the size of the remaining one to 70Kb... so there shouldnt be probs with that alone. HEY! you gotta try these things Looked cool I thought |

I like the idea of having one without animated and one with animated buttons....
At last people have the oppurtunity to choose whichever one...
But won't it cause a lot of bandwidth problems? Especially if a lot of people use that theme?
