i'd rather have mine ACTUALLY under the ground, and, erm, for reasons of practicality, maybe a bit smaller then the one you had internal pic's of, 'cos that looked BIG!

but, have always loved the idea of slightly unconventional houses underground

He's had the whole of Bagend saved... and then got Alan Lee to design the rooms that were missing (bedrooms and bathrooms)... transported the lot to his home farm, and had it set in a hill, for guests!!!

oh really?  Now that would be soooo cool.  In fact, I reckon that would be one hell of a money making enterprise... to own a load of Hobbit holes for people to stay in.  *goes off to design it*
