Aww love the name Jonah! He sounds lovely.

Well after moving in to my own house I finally got a dog of my own!
Hettie a 5 year old lurcher, she was a stray and comes to work with me to help me assess the other dogs to see if they are good with dogs and help them socialise.
Well I couldn't just gave one, so we rescued Ruby, a 4 year old chocolate lab. She helped Hettie get over her separation problems.

I am so lucky to have 2 amazing well behaved best friends....the benefits of being a behaviourist and winking in a rescue centre!

Oh Del, that sounds lovely. Unfortunately we lost our pringle last year, was very quick and had no idea, she has been a fit and healthy dog before, then went off her food,  we found she was riddled with cancer and there was nothing they could do, so very sad when you loose one of your closest and most loyal friends x

Spikie my heart breaks for you - I lost my Izzie, a tabby cat we'd had for 17 years two years ago and I miss her still. We sort of knew it was coming but it was very hard. I remember the look she gave me while we were watching the opening ceremony of the Olympics. It was as if she was saying goodbye.

Sorry, crazy cat lady has entered the building! EG your cats are gorgeous! And I've the pleasure of meeting the handsome Jonah in person so I can vouch for his gorgeousness and such a personality too!

We have 3 cats in our household!
Smudge who is a black and white moggy, she is 16 and was born in this house (I've probably posted a picture of her in this very thread!) she technically belongs to my parents but I look after her now since they live in Spain for most of the year

Bailey who is ginger and white and solely my baby. She's a bit of a special girl in that she doesn't really know how to be a cat. I bought her at around 12 weeks old but her previous home wasn't very nice and she was locked away from all the other animals. She is still very timid and jumpy (always will be I think), has attachment issues and can't stand being on her own. She is extremely clumsy, can't jump, can't climb, has no sense of direction and often kicks herself in the head but I wouldn't have her any other way!

Moo is a black cat despite her name! She is the same age as bailey which is about 2 1/2 yrs old and belongs to my fiancee, Danny but she's part of the family and I see her as my baby too. She and bailey like chasing each other up and down the stairs but unlike bailey who is very playful and kittenish, moo prefers a solitary life and likes to be on her own going nuts at the birdies in the window.

I have also recently adopted a corn snake called Einstein. He is an anery corn so has grey and black colouring. He is 8 years old and found him in a local rescue centre, his previous owners looked after him very well but just simply didn't have the time to care for him so he ended up with us. He is very tame and friendly, likes to hide in clothing and rest his head on your shoulder. He's very inquisitive and certainly not shy!

Phew. Sorry for all those that actually read my essay. I love all my animals to bits as you can probably tell?!

Aww thanks guys, am loving hearing about everyones animals, is good to see such loving owners, at work sometimes you see too much sadness!

Loving all the cat pics! I still have a cat at home with my parents, she is 13 years old now but doesn't show it!

Sorry to hear about your losses too, we lost our ferret a couple of months ago, miss him so much, he was a real character but he was 8 or 9 very old for a ferret.

Storm (you can prob guess who that is) is a British Shorthair Silver Spotted (like the Whiskas cat) and a complete teddy bear!

and Jive is a Bengal and a total nutter!

We have a little furbaby Yorkshire Teririer who we adopted just over three years ago 😊

Her name is Cleo and she's such a character, so loving towards us but hates all strangers and has a crazy addiction to dental sticks.  They're actually like drugs to her 😳

I love her to bits ❤️

Megzie - I've met squidge and I can say she is a lovely kitteh! Such a kind nature. I'd love to meet bailey and moo- can't wait to come up and see them! They're both beautiful. All of them are. Thank you for being so kind about Jonah! He loved you
