Iv just bought this off amazon.  As far as i know its the only one of the HOME series i didnt have.

has anyone read this?  Iv not heard of it before a few months ago so im wondering if it is a newer publication of some other writings or just another book iv missed in my searchings.

ie it's the first half of book 9 (? I think it's 9), without the non-LOTR stuff - but I really enjoyed the Notion Club papers & their link to the Numenor myth.

thanks lessa.  that link at least lets me know what its about.  it didnt have a synopsis on amazon.

The good thing about these books is that they completely fill you in on everything that goes on around what you read in the books.

its so good because when you read the lord of the rings, the sil or the hobbit even, anything you feel you dont quite get you can read around in HOME series.
