The choices of Hobbits and Elves

"I don't want antyhign from you fool! Now get off my back, this is between me and Meltharius." said Malvorías coldly. He readjusted his vambraces and stared at Meltharius.

Meltharius tested his sword with a few twirls and flicks. "Ignore him Legolas, hes not worth your time...He's all mine" he said.

Legolas grinned slightly at Metharius, he knew how great a fighter he was and thought that Malvoiras was no match for Metharius.

"Why were you muttering on your way threw the trees, Where are you little elves, come out where ever you are?"

Legolas asked him with an odd look on his face astho Malvoiras was mad.

Malvorías stared at Legolas with a strange look. He finnaly answered "Because I'm insane" he said and laughed manically. "Well now Meltharius, lets get on with it...Your friends are startign to bore me"

"With pleasure" Meltharius smiled readying himself.

Malvorías charged at Meltharius and soon they were engaged in hand-to-hand combat.

cassandra was alittle scared, she clung onto legolas's shoulder and watched fearfully

Legolas looked down at cassondra and smiled.

"Its Metharius..he knows what hes doing he'll be fine" he whispered, trying to convince hisself more then Cassondra.
He watched the figth anxoiusly. legolas wonted to help but forced himself not to.

*Eleclya couldn't watch the fight any longer, she strode off into the depths of the forest on her own, trying to block out everything. She walked through the twisting trees, pushing them out of her way as she went. Soon the sound of clashing swords were far behind her. She came to a peaceful clearing, no sound was uttered excepted for the brush of wind through the trees. She slumped herself down on a nearby rock and sighed sadly. She gazed into the forest meaninglessly and wished her worries away...*

*Nienna watched the battle uneasily, fear was deep within her eyes. She turned her back on the fight, she couldn't watch it any longer, she couldn't bare the thought of seeing Meltharius die right infront of her eyes*

The two fought for hours, every blow was anticipated by the other combatant and neither managed to hit a single blow on the other. They didn't seem to tire either, two hours later the fighters were just as vigerous as at the begining. Occasionally they broke off, exchanged a witty remark or two and then continued. Both Meltharius and Malvorías seemed to be enjoying themselves.

cassandra followed eleclya after whispering to legolas and nienna she was going to check on her, she wandered through the trees, calling her name

Legolas Smiled and gave Cassandra a hug before nodding good-bye and sitting next to Nienna.

"Doing well arn't they?"He said trying to lighten up the mood.

"Am i the only one who wonts to interupe this?" He asked her as he wished he could.

He picked up a stone and started throwing it in the air, he went to catch it and it bounced off of his hand and barely missing Malvoiras.

[Blaen]

Malvorías charged agains but this time somethign strange happened. As he ran torward Meltharius the air started to ripple as if it were water. As Malvorías brought his sword to bear on Meltharius' own blade there was a flash of pure white light. And both elves cried in surprise and pain. A mist descended from nowhere and neither could be seen.

Legolas stood there in pure shock,
"Methrius...." He muttered shaken by what just happened.

"METHARIUS!" he shouted angryly thinking he had lost his friend again.

"Not again..." He turned around then looked back to where they had dissapeared.

[Blaen]

From the mist rose a figure who seemed to radiate pure white light. His voice seemed to have two tones at once. "Interesting" the figure said. The light faded and an elf was clearly visable. Neither Meltharius nor Malvorías, this was a combination of the two. "Soooo much power, I never thought I would ever be whole again..."

*Nienna suddenley jumped and stood up, she turned to see the figure infront of her. She stood in complete shock* "Meltharius?" *She asked confused*

*Eleclya heard her name being called but made no reaction, she flinched slightly as the wind whipped her cheeks and sent a chill down her spine. She continued to watch the forest, not making a movement or sound*

[Blaen]

"Yes, that is my name...Meltharius..." The elf said. "But I am finally whole again, Allow me to explain. Many years ago I was out exploring the woods near Merizar when I came upon these ruins. Curious, I touched them and was trapped within them for many years. My two halfs, good and bad, were forced to do battle constantly. Finally we were released seperately. The good half Meltharius and the bad part Malvorías warred constantly until our father finally imprisoned Malvorías. But now we have come together and we are one once more" Meltharius said. "I could take either name, But I choose Meltharius" he said smiling.

*Nienna couldn't believe it, who was she to believe? she thought, was this really Meltharius talking or Malvorías. She took a step back* "How do I know this is not Malvorías playing his tricks on me?" *She asked cautiously*
