Sam listened to what everyone had to say. He was glad they wanted to come to the Shire with him. He wanted to go now, as soon as possible, but he knew he would have to wait, for whenever the others were ready. Sam smiled, a smile that didn't reach his eyes, and prayed that he would find good news when he got back to the Shire

cassandra got to her feet, she'd grown rather restless, she wondered if they'd have to travel on foot all the way back to the shire and with everyone weighed down by grief with little food she couldn't see it being the best of plans

Sorry everyone, couldn't find the forum for awhile -  but am back.

Amarie had been listening to the conversation, but after awhile she got up and went to the mouth of the cave, looking out onto the destroyed city. She still could not quite comprehend it and she wanted someone to pay for this. ...

cassandra wandered to the front of the cave and stood beside amarie, looking out upon the ruins of the city, she then glanced at amarie, "you ok?" she asked, brushing a whisp of dark hair ehind elven ears

Legolas walked back towards the cave still deep in thought. He had been thinking about everyone who he had lost resently...because of this he had gone off for time alone to grieve. Slowly walking up towards the cave he saw Cassondra and Amarie talking amongst thier selves, so descided to leave them be. He sat on a tall rock near by looking over the horizon, he took out his sword and began to clean in with a old piece of rag he carryed with him.

"You might want to use something of better quality to clean that Legolas" said Meltharius who put his hand in his pocket and threw a silk cloth and some oil to Legolas.

[Midge Modge]

Legolas smiled as he cort the oil and the silken cloth "Thanks" he began to clean his sword with that "So...have we desided on anything yet?" he asked looking over to the horizen.

"We're leaving as soon as everybody's ready" *Eleclya said from just behind Legolas and Meltharius* "I should hope that isn't too long"

*Nienna remained in the cave, gathering the rest of her things, which over the months, had lessened greatly. She looked around, everybody else seemed to be outside except Samwise and herself, she glanced across at the Hobbit and gave him a small smile* "Are you looking forward to getting back to The Shire?" *She asked him, knowing that Eleclya's offer to go there may be a risky one, but it was vital. Most of the Men had been wiped out from battling and the ones that remained would probably hide out until their days end, Elves were now gone, the Dwarves still cared nothing for the troubles of Middle Earth and dwelled deep in the moutains, Hobbit's seemed to be now, their last hope of bringing good once again to Middle Earth, although Nienna knew, to ask them to aid their small group was probably a road to certain death*

Sam looked up as Nienna spoke, and nodded to her question. "I think so. I just hope nothing has happened.... I thought they were coming to help, they said they would. And we don't normally go back on our word." He stood up, all his things in a small bag, which he slung over his shoulder. Sam moved nearer to Nienna, still quite shy with the Elves. "I'm really, really sorry about what happened before. Something just came over me..." Sam said

"It's all right, Sam" *Nienna replied reassuringly* "All that matters is that we both got out alive and well" *She reached down and took her bag where she packed all her things* "All I worry about is how we are now to get to The Shire, it will be a long and tiresome journey on foot, we will need Horses if we want to restore our energy for whatever is ahead of us"

[Blaen]

"The journey is long. But we are within sight of our goal, we must not dishearten now" Meltharius said. He stood upon a boulder and surveyed the area with his elven eyes. "Horses may be difficult to procure" he muttered.
