The choices of Hobbits and Elves

(Yar, tis Eleclya your with, Megs )

*Eleclya smiled weakly and put a comforting arm on Legolas' shoulder* "It's all right, my good friend" *She said, then she got to her feet, her energy was low, she could feel it. The power she had used to kill the Dragon had taken up a lot of her strength, like it normally did, she just hoped the others knew where to come and that they all made it out alive. She felt incredibly guilty, she had caused the downfall of the city with her powers, killing most of the people who were still alive. She sighed sorrowfully as she surveyed the ruins of Minas Tirith from the opening of the cave*

*Nienna's eyes dashed around for an exit, rubble was all around them, except from a small gap to their side. She bolted straight for it, pulling Sam along with her. She had to crouch to get through but it brought them through a passageway and out onto a clear level which had not yet fallen to pieces*

cassandra slowly sat up, she felt so stupid, she had set out to aid eleclya with her powers and whilst conserving them had foolishly got hurt, her glance fell across legolas' arm, "legolas, let me help you," she said gently "does it hurt?"

[Blaen]

(I noticed . Urmmm...Me thinks your with Amarie, but she needs to post and I can't do anything till Samwise posts )

[Amarie]

(you are running with Amarie form the collapsing city - we are headed for the cave you camped in before you entered Minas Tirith.  )

Finally Amarie, Meltharius and Blean reached the cave. Amarie was glad to see almost all her friends there. I hope Nienna and Sam are all right she thought.
When she had caught her breath she said. "We lost Nienna and Sam, but I'm sure they found some way out. Is there any way I can help any of you - are you injured?"

[Blaen]

"Is Nienna is still out there then I am going back" Meltharius said indignately. He made to leave the cave but Blaen stopped him.

"You are going nowhere my friend" Blaen said to the elf. "Amarie, Meltharius' arm is shattered, is there anything you can do for him?" he asked her.

[Amarie]

Amarie nodded, and slowly approached Metharius. She took his arm in gently between her hands and felt the injury. She visualized, like she had learned in long studies the bone mending and she began humming the ancient incantation she had used so often. She felt the engergy directed at the wound and she felt the broken parts mend, slowly.
She felt drained, yet, she did not stop until the arm was perfectly healed - then she tore a large piece of cloth from her shirt and bound Metharius's arm securly against his body. "The broken parts are healed," she said, " but it was shattered so badly that you should not move it for a few days, then it'll be as good as new."
She turned around and sat down in a corner of the cave. She burried her head on her knees. She felt exhausted and dizzy, but when she thought about all those who had died today, all those who could not be saved any more, she could not hold the tears back any longer. Silently she cried, not noticing the others any more for the time being.

[Midge Modge]

Legolas looked at Cassondra "If you can count it's so painful its gone numb then yes" he joked and slowly removed his armor. Wincing as he did he could see blood everywhere, and as he moved his clothes out of the way he could see his bone through the deep wound, slit across his arm "Not soo good" he tryed to show he wasn't too bothered by it but couldn't control this too well "How am I ment to sort this out!!" he looked down at it, the blood had slowled down and the flesh was a strange pinky-yellow colour.

[Samwise Gamgee]

Sam hurried beside Nienna, not sure on where they were going. Any moment now, he was sure of it, the whole city would fall. There was no-one around, no-one whatsoever. Sam just had to hope that Nienna would be able to find a way out by sheer luck and guesswork, for he had absolutely no idea where they were right now.

*Nienna fought for breath, it seemed to escape her. She couldn't feel her legs, they were numb with pain and exhaustion. But she carried on, she was the only one who could lead her and Sam out of the city, which was now a maze of the dead and rubble. Thoughts flashed through her mind, of her friends, her happy memories and Meltharius and the one thing she knew was she had to get her and Sam out. She pushed herself on with new determination and managed to find an almost clear stairway. They ran down it, Nienna picked up a discarded shield and pulled Sam closer to her. She put it over their heads as bits of rubble flew down crashing onto them.
 The stairway seemed to last forever, but eventually brought them out onto the ground level. The streets seemed ever more familiar as they went on and as they dashed around the corner there were the gates up ahead. Nienna gave a brief sigh of relief and continued to run, big boulders and crumbled parts of the city chased down on after them and they only had a matter of time to run or else they would be crushed under them. As they emerged out of the gates, Nienna, along with Sam swung round to the side of the wall as the rocks came flooding out of the city, just missing them*

*Eleclya looked up from her sorrowful gaze as the rocks came tumbling down out of the gates. That was the end of Minas Tirith and she felt a tears prickle in the back of her eyes as Sam and Nienna had not made it to the cave, but as Eleclya scanned the outside of the city with her elf eyes she saw two figures, Sam and Nienna. A smile broke out onto her face and she turned to the others* "They made it out! Sam and Nienna! They're alive!"

cassandra sat fully up, looking out to the cave entrance to see her old friend nienna and of course sam, she then turned to amarie, "can you heal him?" she asked hoping she could help legolas

[Samwise Gamgee]

Sam crouched down low, beside Nienna, trying to hide from the rocks. He was worn out, gasping for breath, amazed that they had got out. He felt so guilty though, he could have easily kiled Nienna and himself. He didn't know where the others were, he prayed that they were alive.

[Amarie]

Amarie heard Eleclya say "They made it out! Sam and Nienna! They're alive!" and looked up. More tears were coming, this time tears of joy- but she was too exhausted to get  up. So she waited, looking hopefully to the mouth of the cave, waiting for Nienna and Sam to enter.

*Nienna looked down at Sam panting for breath* "We did it...We made it out" *She muttered, feeling quite amazed. But now they had to find the others, she glanced around 'where would they be?' she asked herself. Then her gaze fell across the opening of the cave where she saw two figures. A smile erupted onto her face* "They're over there, in the cave!" *She said, then she began walking, but she was very weak, every step was torture*

[Samwise Gamgee]

"Nienna, wait!" Sam called, getting to his feet. He could obviously see it hurt Nienna to walk, and it was the same for him slightly. "Maybe you should rest for a moment. We're safe here and the cave is way over there" He explained, walking by her side. He put a comforting hand on her arm, "We made it this far. We can't have you collapsing, trying to go to fast to get to the others." Sam smiled slightly, a smile that didn't reach his eyes
