The choices of Hobbits and Elves

Legolas looked sorrowly down at all the dead around him, not just dragons and dark riders some he had fort with along time ago, back in an age. Something dawned on him "Where's cassondra?" he said wided eyed, running in the opposite direction looking for her, wincing as his arm swung with every step to keep his balance.

*Eleclya looked up at Sam and Amarie and smiled weakly* "Thankyou" *She said gratefully as she sat up, wincing as she did so, she had many wounds and bruises but she knew she would be ok. She glanced over at Sam* "I don't think anything else is needed, I'm fine"

[Amarie]

Amarie helped Eleclya to her feet. "Well, " she started, "Seems like we won the day..." Sadly she looked around.
"Do you think the others are ok? They might need help...." Again her gaze wondered over what she could see, scanning for friends.
"I should go and see if my help is needed." she said finally and with a smile for Sam and Eleclya she slowly made her way through the bodies, checking as she had before whether they were alive and could be saved and marking them for the healers to see.

Legolas ran towards the sounds of dragons fearing the worst. As he saw the blood stained clothes that layed on cassondra's body he bolted over to her, shielding her from the dragons fury "I WILL PUSH YOU DOWN INTO THE FIRE DEPTHS OF HELL!!" he yelled at it hitting it off with his sword, feeling cassondras blood sock into the back of his clothes.

cassandra raised her head to see legolas, she slowly stumbled to her feet and picked up her sword with a shaking hand, "legolas, be careful," she said as she took a tighter hold on her sword, she came to stand by his side as the dragon roared angrily before them

[Blaen]

Blaen stood on the battlements and looked around. The morning sun was rising and as the light shone across the city he could see the extent of the damage. Surely this bloodshed might even rival the battle of the Pellanor fields. Blaen's face turned stoney as he remember fightign alongside Aragorn in the old days. But the kingdom seemed to be falling down around him now. He sighed and turned to Meltharius who was still slumped against the wall. "The last of the dragons are being mopped up, soon we can get your wounds treated" he said.

Meltharius looked up at the Ranger. "Many have died this night...I fear we will not have enough strength for the final push. But if we do not capatlise the enemy will soon bolster his forces and defeat will be assured. I have grown tired of bloodshed, I have seen too many of those I love die. Gondor and Rohan at war was bad enough. But now the strength of men, the same men that defeated Sauron the Deciever, seems to ebb and wain. Few elves remains and the dwarves have become even more reclusive. I fear the world may once again be engulfe in darkness" he sighed.

*Eleclya sighed as she looked around at the devastating sight of death surrounding her. She glanced over at Amarie marking the bodies* "I'll go see if I can find the others" *She said, then she turned to Sam* "Do you want to help me?" *She asked with a weak smile*

*Nienna had so far found no hope of survival, the dead laid all around her, men, elves, dragons, the evil beasts that had numerous orc features. The sight was unlike anything she had ever seen before but she tried to keep her mind off it, hope that somewhere in this collapsed city she would find her friends, alive and well*

[Samwise Gamgee]

Sam nodded, in reply to Eleclya's question. "Are you sure you're alright?" He asked, and glanced up at the rising sun. The Hobbits would be coming soon... he hoped that not much more blod would be shed. Sam gripped his sword tightly, feeling almost sick as he looked around and saw so many bodies.

*Eleclya smiled weakly at Sam* "I am fine, nothing but a scratch and couple of bruises" *She said. Then she saw Sam was rather distracted by the devastation around them and her smile faded, it was an awful sight, but Eleclya knew they had to find the others* "We mustn't waste anymore time, we must find the others" *She said then she began to walk carefully through the rubble and bodies*

[Amarie]

Amarie contiunued to work. Her heart was heavy and she felt like screaming, but nevertheless she went steadily on. She could see other healers moving between the dead and wounded now and she saw the people she had marked being picked up and carried toward the houses of healing.
After a long while, she bumped into someone. It was Nienna, obviously looking for her friends.  When she was close enough to be heard, she said "Hello Nienna, if you are looking for some survivors, Eleclya and Sam are one level down." she tried to smile encourigingly, but did not quite manage.

*Ninna attempted a smile but it was more than a flinch. She nodded, saying nothing in the deathly silence around them and headed towards the stairs. She suddenly heard a Dragon not too far off and instantly unsheathed her sword. She ran in it's direction and as she turned a corner, avoiding all the rubble she saw Cassandra and Legolas tackling the last Dragon in Minas Tirith* "Cassandra! Legolas!" *She shouted as she ran as fast as she could towards them. The Dragon noticed her presence, but didn't seem to care much, it focussed it's attention mainly on the two infront, Cassandra and Legolas*

[Samwise Gamgee]

Sam followed Eleclya silently, staring down at his hands, not wanting to look around, for what he knew he would see. He had never seen anything like this before, and it chilled him to the bone. He knew they would find the others.. they would be alive... they HAD to be! Sam finally looked up, and looked around, looking for the others. He saw two small figues fighting a dragon, and looked around for the other ones... but no, that was the last dragon! A small smile appeared on his lips, that was a good thing, surely! He wondered who the two figures were, and if anyone was going to help them. They looked like they needed it

Legolas standind infront of cassondra, his arm throbing deeply he swong his sword the best he could towards the dragon. he couldnt hear the overs comign to help, his mind focused on the dragons baring teeth trying to rip cassondra and Himself to pieces.

[Amarie]

Amarie ran after Nienna, her sword drawn. She did not rember where she had left her bow. She saw the dragon and Legolas and Cassandra fighting. Legolas was handeling his sword awquardly, he seemed hurt.  Cassandra did not seem too fresh, either. She hoped she could do something to help.
