The choices of Hobbits and Elves

(I'm going away for the weekend, so I will not be able to get online tomorrow, Saturday or Sunday. Please do not get me lost... you can move my character/s on if you want! Also, just to warn you in advance, the week after next, I am going away for two weeks, and will not be able to get online at all. Same again, please don't get me lost, but you can move my character/s around! Thanks very much!)

Meltharius turned and looked at Eleclya. "What of Rhinvan? I agree we must make sure the shire is safe but he may use this time to escape. To regather his forces. But since we know not where he is, I agree. Let us make for the shire" he said. Suddenly he swung around and looked at everyone. "Where is Blaen?"

Five miles away a regiment of horsemen galloped eastward, among there number was a ranger, beaten and bound.

(It is my intention for Blaen to be taken to Rhinvan and this may have a big role later. For now may I suggest that the others go to the shire after deciding that Blaen is probably dead.)

(All right, Samwise, if we do a lot (Which I don't intend) I'll IM with what has happened and I'll move your character on for you. Just on the note of not being online, I may not be on much next week and I go away on th 20th August and I don't think I'll be coming back till early September. I'm not sure )

(OK, well, what are we going to do about The Shire? Is it going be destroyed? Or is it going to be all right and stoof? I'm not really bothered, I think we should make that decision together . I think it could be partly destroyed, but there will be still Hobbits alive, living in the woods on the outskirts and healing the wounded etc. Up to you lot though)

*Eleclya hesitated for a moment, deep thought shown in her pale blue eyes. She then looked up at Meltharius* "If he is not here, Meltharius, I fear he is dead" *She said sadly, she couldn't recall what had happened to Blaen, she remembered seeing him after battle, but like a Ranger, it was likely he could've set off on his own, which meant that anything could've happened to him. She sighed* "But, if so, we must get to The Shire as soon as possible. There we may be able to pick up some suppiles, we may be able to find some Horses on the boarding villages. If we search for Rhinvan we must do so on the ground and I don't see us travelling all over Middle-Earth on foot"

cassandra watched as the mighty golden birds approached and smiled, hoping this was the start to some good fortune coming their way

(as we're announcing when we're away i'm off on holiday a week tomorrow and i'll be away for a week, feel free to move my character and please try not to get me too lost)

as the eagles landed outside the cave cassandra stepped forward to a large brown eagle, in the morning sun it's feather shimmered gold. leaning forward slightly cassandra gave the bird a small bow, the eagle nodded in return and cassandra stepped forward and mounted the bird, climbing to thetop of the birds back, just below it's neck where she tried to sit well so as not to fall off when the bird took flight

Meltharius stood and stared into the distance further before mounting the Eagle that had landed beside him. "To the shire then? We cannot waste time there I'm afraid, we still have a war to win." he said grimly.

*Eleclya nodded and pulled herself up onto one of the Eagles before thanking him for offering his aid to them once again. Once she was on she looked up to the sky, it was late morning but they would be able to make it to The Shire quickly on the Eagles*

Sam looked nervously up at the others, as they all got onto the eagles. They all seemed to have done it before. He glanced at the eagle that landed infront of him, smiling slightly, as he gently put out a tentative hand to touch it's feathers. The eagle seemed to realise, and got lower down. Sam slowly climbed onto the eagle's back, taking care not to grip too hard onto the eagle's feathers, so as to not hurt it. He looked once more, round at the others.

Legolas quickly pulled himself onto an Eagel before watching everyone else, realising there might have to be two to an eagel he sat there waiting to see who would have to join him.

cassandra smiled as she turned to see legolas, "legolas, d'you want to share?" she asked, meaning the eagle

Legolas looked down at Cassondra and smiled broudly "Oh course" he held out his hand to help her up, once she was sat down infront of him he placed his hands around her waist. Legolas sat there for awhile before something ran threw his mind, He wanted to tell her something he had never done before "I....I..lo-" he stopped, he didn't know how to say it, he didn't know if it wa sthe right thing to say so he quickly changed it "I Like the looks of flying today, weathers great"

[Amarie]

Amarie eyed the eagles suspicously. She was not afraid, but flying did not look appealing to her. Nonetheless she swollowd her pride and approached one of the eagles, talking softly to it. Slowly she got on, held on fast and closed her eyes, waiting.
