E is for Elendili ~ 'elf-friends', men of Numenor who remained faithful and friendly to the elves when the kings of Westernesse neglected them

G is for Gil-galad ~ name given to Ereinion for the shield decorated with stars which shone brightly and could be seen by the elven eyes from afar. Means 'Star of Radiance'.
