OK.

I thought it might be a nice idea if after buying a few things from LotrUK and Blades, we may as well have a slightly larger review board, so here are reviews on each of the products I have brought from BUK and LotrUK.

Review 1: That Herugrim.
Well what more can I say than WOW.

It was in Alexandra Palace in London, when I decided I was going to buy it, Just as I got Mr Bernard Hill to sign it, I was thinking, OMG what on earth Is Loz going to say to this one, Luckyily he decided that i was worth it and gave it to me!!

It is by far the highlight of my collection and it's one of the most superb pieces I think I will ever see.

Beautifully made, and the detail is sooo intricate it is almost unreal, They say they people of Rohan are the horselords, and by far this piece indicates just that.

My Hergrim has pride of place in my Lotr Room and it will do for many years to come.

Thankyou Loz for this wonderful present.

Here is Mr Bernard Hill along with My Herugrim and me.....

Review 2: Staff of Gandalf the White

Yet another amazing piece by united Cutlery and yet again, well worth the money paid for it.

Was one of only a few 'perfect' staff's that came into our warehouse, luckily Loz gave it to me by course of an accident, i suppose by saying that i should explain myself abit better, well the story goes.....

The staff's came into stock and we looked thropugh the 5 we had in stock, 1 was perfect, and the other 4 all had chips around the top, Sim and me both brought one which had chips in for a very discounted price, now on the way home that day, I asked Loz to pick mine up for me and bring it, he did so, and when I got home and opened it, he had given me the wrong one. What  lovely surpirse, so i paid him a little extra for it, and kept it, and it is a beautiful piece.

Now that UC have sorted out the problem they were having, it is definately a must have piece.

Review 3: Limited Edition helm of King Elendil.

Now this was the first purchase I made from Blades, well if you can call it a purchase as such, more of a birthday present yet again, from my lovely Boss, we may moan about him, but he really isn't that bad!!

I had to learn to look after this piece and oil it, which I had no idea on, but found out about very quickly.

The workmanship in this item is amazing, and the quality surpasses itself, in my opinion it is one of the nicest pieces to come from UC and well worth the money, so if you ever want a helm, i would highly recommend this one!!

Review 4: The Elven knife of Strider

now this was my first actual purchase from BUK, and i spent all of my birthday money on it, it fits securly on it's wall plaque and looks lovely on the weall, most people would not realize it was a LOTR replica by just looking at it, though it is very well crafted, and writing down the blade is all etched into the surface, and it is a piece of ultimate quality, When I can afford more of the swords and like, I will def be buying myself more, but as it stands this is a gorgeous item, not as god as the Herugrim, but still a fantastic piece.

Myself, the Elven knife of strider and my Herugrim

Review 5: The Sting

'Not if i sting you first'

Probably the first line I remember from the trilogy when I see my lovely sword.

yet again, what more can I say on the subject of these incredible pieces, but for display items, you just don't get any better than these!!!

Surperb is all I will say on the lines of this one.

Ok, I will say more, it's lovely, a really nice piece and I can wait to get more to get in line with this one, perhaps the Fighting Knives of legolas would go well alongside of this piece.

Review 6: The Miniature Shards of Narsil.

Also known as the lady doing the ironing, a smaller piece which is still very detailled, if you want something a little something for a present, this is a very good idea.

Highly recommended from a fans point of view.

Reviews 7, 8, 9 & 10: Art Prints.

Ok, floating around in my collection are a vast amount of Art Prints, I have Rochelle's legolas art print, in Black a white, a superb piece, sadly it is no longer available on our website though.

The detail in this print is fantastic!!

The other 3 are all by Morgan, and were all available on our site for a short time, lo, we cannot offer al products so sadly they have had to dissappear, though  they are of a fantastic quality.

I own a Black and White limited edition print of Boromir which is in itself a work of art, also in my collection is a colour version of Haldir and one of Eomer, both of which have been signed by the artists themselves.

Eomer was a prize in the LotrUK official chrity Meet in sherwood forest, and I was luckily enouigh to bid high enough in our raffle and win it, YAY!!

And here is Karl Urban signing my Eomer print!!!

Review 11: Crystal cuts, The One Ring.

Highly detailled and Intricate are the first thoughts on this item, it is a superb piece and definately worth getting, if only I had the money for the complete collection, I would be buying more of them, Made from Glass and with a degign of the one ring inside of it, it is a much asked question, how do they do that?

well, if you need to know the anwer, I suggest buying one and working it out for yourself!!
