Do any of you guys own an Xbox 360?

I bought one second hand from a friend and I love it

I own Fifa 07, Gears of War, Call of Duty 3, Test Drive Unlimited and WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2007.

I shall HOPEFULLY soon be getting a 12 month Xbox live subscription soooooo...

Though I admit the 360 will tide me over until I can afford a PS3  8) :D

Gears of War, PGR 3, Tomb Raid Legends (it was free! must get that changed) and some arcade selection. Waiting for DOA4 classic edition along with the rest of the upcoming new releases.

The PS3 needs at least another half dozen decent titles + one actual system seller before I seriously consider it. ^_^

Not sure on this, but what i've heard, PS3 will be able to play PS2 games, but with better quality and speed. Don't know though so don't quote me!

The PS3 is one sexy looking beast though...

Waiting for Scarface to come out on XBox360 so I can buy it for Gilly :P

Well we got our Xbox360 for pretty much £150...with all the wires, 3 wireless controllers, 5 games...etc...etc...

Gillys friend was desperate to sell  ::)

Well Iso I got mine just 2 weeks ago! In fact it wasn't even something I had considered so dead set on purchasing a PS£ had I been. But after a slew of lackluster reviews and many comparisons of games on both systems, the PS3 just doesn't look like a sound investment on opening day. If you hold off a bit you can normally expect package deals. So though the price of the sytem may not drop, they might throw in things like a free controller, memory, games etc etc. Besides all the good games are still a good way off. And Kirstie the PS3 actually plays PS2 games worse than the PS2 does. This may be rectified in time, but that's how things stand today.

Only console I bought on release day was PS2 and I never played it really, the games were crap  :D

Might get me a PS3 just before Xmas, slight better chance of getting one then.

Quick question....since my Xbox 360 was second hand, how do I go about getting the 1 month free Live thingymabob?

Hmm don't think you can actually do that. Depends on how your friend used his. Technically each xbox allows you to make upto 5 (i think!) different accounts with a free month on each. If he's used up all 5 then your best bet is to buy a game with one included. I got an extra week or so in my pack of Gears of War but am not sure if that's standard or not.

Well I know that it expired just before I got the computer off him...

On the website it says you get the voucher with Fifa World Cup 2006, does it some with any other games?

Only console i've ever heard of people getting injured from anything other than wrist strain!! lol. The Wii is dangerous....and has a very odd name, whats next, the Poh, pronounced "Poo"?

Bought Dead Rising yesterday...seems like a clever idea...you got 72 hours of maiming zombies then getting your @r$e out of there  :D

Not been on properly yet, just had a samnple of it last night, then watched Land of the Dead  8) :D

Ooh I have Ghost Recon 2. Brilliant fun though the SP was much too short and playing online is only great until you get sniped.

I put a deposit down on the new Grand Theft Auto for Daniel yesterday - his birthday present from me! It comes out on his bday. So he'll be adding that to his game collection soon.

Right now he's on Call of Duty online.

I hear GTA has been delayed. All because Microsoft want to compete with Sony. there is no competition, PS3 has 1 good game out,Resistance, so I don't seee what the problem is really.

Why it has been delayed to the same date as the ps3 release I don't know, it will be the second good game the ps3 has to offer, the other being Resistance:Fall of man.

The Darkness

TOTALLY addicted to The Darkness at the moment though - one of the best games I've ever played.  It's stylish, it's thought-provoking, it's full of action, and the storyline is A-MAZE-ING!

My boyfriend has a PS3 though, and I think they're both great consoles, although I prefer the PS3....I only got an XBOX because we're moving in together soon, and there's no point having two PS3's so I thought we'd have one of each hehe!

We collectively (Roommates) own Call of Duty 4, Dead Rising, Gears of War, Halo 3 and Pro Evolution Soccer 2008.....with my favourite by a country mile being Call of Duty 4, which would be my pick for Game of the Year 2007 were it not for Valve releasing the PC version of 'The Orange Box.'  :)

I waaaant Call Of Duty 4 *is jealous of Edge* :P  But Craig is getting it in PS3 so when we move in together we're gonna set everything up properly with internet, new TV, etc etc :D

I have Assasins Creed on Xbox, and I'm currently loving that at the moment!  Amazing game that, and very addictive once on there!
