Post by: Anne on May 27, 2006, 02:58:12 AM: We have set up an Age of the Rings map on Frappr. The link is through the map button at the top (which is currently only on the default theme but will be on the others shortly).

It is possible to place your marker to within a few yards of your actual house, but I would recommend that you don't do that unless you really want us all turning up on your doorstep next week >:(

As Frappr is an American site, you will need to remember to click on the "I am not an American" link under the location field, otherwise (as I discovered) your house gets moved to a different continent. Unless you are American of course, in which case ignore me. :P

You can view the map as a map or as satalite photos and can zoom in to an alarmingly detailed view. I could see my car in my drive. Have fun, but be safe. :)

It won't zoom in that far for me, just comes up We are sorry but we don't have imagery at this zoom level for this region. :(
So just added somewhere sort of close for me.
