Could you explain what larp is to us ignoramuses!?
I'm guessing role-play of some form. :sw:
-
oh yeah sure... larp means live action role play... it is where you create a charictor... and roleplay out i nthe open with other people... no dice involved... but pleanty of weapons etc...
we use special laex /foam composite weapons so we dont kill the real person...
does that help?

I have a friend who LARPs a bit, but his brand of LARPing involves taking the game to some place such as a college campus, shopping centre or coffeehouse as a sort of "uninvited theatre production", though they generally try not to go overboard with those blunted arrows and foam swords in mainstream crowded venues.
I've been keen to LARP bits of our Call of Cthulhu campaign for quite some time. What girl wouldn't want an excuse to dress up in 1920's costume and run around chasing demons, huh? :D
