How about starting a topic where people would translate their elvish sig, name, and personal text. I for one seldom understand them clearly(though I know some elvish words). You did not put them for yourself only, did you? Moreover, maybe some people are more skilled in Elvish and could correct the texts, names, if they are wrong. What say you?

Eledh o Eryn Lasgalen ~ Elf of Eryn Lasgalen (Eryn Lasgalen is a name of Mirkwood after the fall of Sauron and is translated as Wood of Green Leaves)

Thanks Taurendil
I too often wonder what the different texts mean

Here's a good site for elvish phrases: Arwen-Undomiel.com (http://www.arwen-undomiel.com/elvish/phrases.html).. Or try Grey-Company.org (http://www.grey-company.org/Circle/language/phrase.htm)..

Just looked it up and Théodwyn means "people's joy" or "joy of the people".. Some joker thinks it's pronounced "thea'rdwin".. That doesn't jive with me.. I pronounce it "thay-oh-dwin" and that's the correct way.. ::) :P Though if shortened, I say it "thee-oh" and not "thay-oh"..

My sig reads:
My friend, may blessings go with you..
