Title: Roverandom
Post by: Taurendil on December 28, 2005, 12:05:50 AM
Have any of you read it?
What is it about and how is it related to other Tolkien works?

(please, don't give links, I should appreciate if you give your opinion)

It is somewhat related.  The dog is transformed into a lead toy one by wizard very much like (but Not) Gandalf.  He has various adentures and at one point is carried to Valinor for a quick glimpse of the Undying Lands.  There is also an episode on the moon that invovles Tirion (though not by name).

I think I need to read it again.  I don't remember any Middle Earth connection, but I read it sooooo long ago.
