Title: Collections?

okay..so i stole this topic from another bored..but it's quite interesting to ask! I hope it's in the right place!

so, do any of you collect anything? like, tea towels? ((don't laugh.. that's my mother for you!)) or stamps? for example.

Myself, well i collect dragon things..from fantasy books, pictures, to statue type things.. mostly statue's.. i started off with one or two..about two/three years ago! all stemming from a book series i read.. and people kept buying me them.. until i eventually started to collect them, so far i'm up to 41! and very quickly running out of space!

What about you? What do you collect? and what made you start?

I collect swords,
I only have a small collection just of japanese at the moment but i am looking to expand my collection once i have a better paying job

swords and anything lotr related! lol

that and jewellery!  have lots of rings, bracelets (arm things) and necklaces, belly bars and earrings!
oooh and Crystals.... those too :D

AND, I never take anything off... just keep adding to the collection ! lol

Most LOTR related items, such as my Witch-King lithograph signed by Lawrence Makoare, and my Legolas stamp set.   I also have a big coin collection.

I used to collect pigs  :D

I have over 50 ornaments, and loads of cuddlies....anything with a pig on it i had  ::)

All i collect now is DUST!  ::) :wacko:

when i was younger i used to collect stickers  :D i had books and books of that shiny card andi'd uy reals of stickers and stick them all in, i even on one page created a zoo by using sticker off cuts as little cages with the animal stickers inside  :P

my brother had a phase of collecting pine cones, we went to centre parks in nottingham and you sleep in chalets on little roads and out of the patios there's always some trees and sometimes a lake or stream, he took 2 huge bags and filled them with pine cones and then broughtthem home  :8o i feel sorry for the squirrels  ::)

I used to collect stamps when I was younger...I think I still have all of them somewhere. I also used to collect ornaments, just anything I took a fancy to and my parents would buy me a small one each week if I was good. Now I collect lotr figurines and I also have a start to a Sword collection. I have one Sword and a Dagger, I plan on getting another Sword some time next year hopefully :)

I am colecting figures of LOTR orcs,dinosauers.dragons....Just I love them and sometimes is very hard to stop buying.... :8o :laugh:

  And I'm getting in the "business" of collecting kitties..  :P  I've got four beasties which will soon be greeted with a fifth!  :o  This one is a boy, I think..  :-\  But I am SO looking forward to getting this new kitty..  He's adorable..  :D

  Hehe, that was a good one..  :laugh:

  I collect office supplies, like notebooks and folders and binders..  Don't know why, I just love the stuff..  :)  I usually avoid walking into office supply stores because I inevitably buy something..  ::)

Ooooo I love stationary too! I miss buying new stuff for school and college...

Hmmm I seem to collect clothes.....I have 3 wardrobes full of clothes...some up to 6 items on on hanger! Some I have never worn before  ::) also 4 drawers full  :8o

I have a Formula One/Motorsport collection ::)
15 autographs.
1 bed throw.
Countless books (I think last time I counted, it was over 30)
Brazilian flag.
Belgian flag.
3 years of Goodwood Festival of Speed tickets.
Lots of photographs I've taken.
Scale minatures: Cars driven by: Damon Hill, Mark Webber, Jacky Ickx, Alain Prost and Andrea De Cesaris as well as a 1:2 scale model of Alain Prost's helmet.
I've met 12 drivers (2 twice).

Plenty more but it's late and my head hurts, hehe.
