Title: Paint Shop Transparancy?

[color=deb887]Wasn't sure where this thread should be placed, so if it's in the wrong sorry :D

Right, calling all PSP whizzes! How the hell do you make an images background transparant??? ??? :8o :o I've tried using the magic wand to delete the bkg but that doesn't work, and I'm just plain stuck :'(

Anyone who can help me will be much appreciated! Thankies muchlies ;)

p.s anyone know the crack code for PSP? :ph34r: >:([/color]

Colours > Set Transparency.  Click ok

Then choose the thirs option (Set the transparency value to palette entry) and then click on the image the colour you want to make transparent.  Click OK.

yeah, thats it.. unless you want to make it a transparent layer.. where you have to cut it out, usually with the freehand selection cutout tool


as for crack codes.,.. please do not post any here... we do not advocate piracy ;)

Or if you apply a top image last and you want that transparent, you paste it as a new layer.

Then go to:

Layers
Propeties
Set the transparency to around 50% max (preferablly lower on darker images)

That's how I've done a lot of my images.
