  Anybody else listen to Skillet?

  I'm currently listening to their newest album called "Awake" and I think this one is less positive than their others..  It's kinda making me sad to listen to it..  :(

  -cough-  Anyways, what do you all think of them?

Isn't a skillet a big metal pan that are good for hitting people with? :fr:

I've never heard of them before. Are they quite big? Am I completely out of the loop?

  They're not huge, but some of their stuff does get played on the radio..  They're a christian band, so they wouldn't be as well known as secular artists..

  Have you ever heard of Jars of Clay?  They're christian, too, and like Skillet they've had some stuff played on the radio..

  But I like Skillet better and I think their music/ lyrics are better..

Nope, sorry, haven't heard of Jars of Clay either. I'm useless though, I can get as far as the better-known indie bands in the UK and that's about it. I don't even know who's in the charts. ::)

I did like the lyrics to that song though, although the fire was a bit scary. :P
