What did you think of that sword??? I thought it was pretty awesome, it must have taken them absolutely ages to make it. Anyway, I've been doing some research and apparently, the sword originally used in the movie (the broken one) actually sold for £3,600,000 in Christies in London. And you can still replicas for about £300 each. But personally, I thought the Elven swords looked much better. I reckon that some people are a bit stupid and fanatical to spend £300 on a replica sword, and yet I know about 20 odd people who have one. What did you guys think about the sword? ???

I thought all the swords used in the film are beautiful yes even the orc ones have a simple beauty of their own

I'm actually surprised the sword didn't go for more considering its prestigious position in the books and films. It probably is a bit excessive to buy a sword, but I think people like to have a bit of the magic - their own piece of Middle-earth to have and to hold.

I have a replica of Narsil.. I don't recall how much it cost, though it was probably too much.. I need to hang it up again (it's been in my closet since we moved 3 years ago :8o)..
