Ok, my litte brothr has just come screaming out of the room next to me to announce that the Title of the next HP has been anounced. It is called (according to him)
Harry Potter and the deathly Hallows (Or something similar)
I bet now its called nothing like that!

she has confirmed tho, that Harry and Voldemort, dont merge to be one person.... which I suppose we should be thankful for... but how many more important people does she have to kill off ???
I still cant get used to Dumbledore being killed :(

I cried for hours when he was killed. But I think that some how Dumbledore will have a 'preance' still. You know, like little clues...

well... i looked on the website and like saw the name behind the locked door thing... and it doesnt say it is thr 7th book name...
i mean sure it would make sence if it was... but maybe.. maybe it was a title she was thinking about using? but now she's got a better one... *clutches at straws* hmm lol doesnt sound too confusing but.. :dry:

I think since then she has confirmed that is the name of the seventh book.
I'm not going to read too much into the name of seventh book, after all, the name of the sixth book was quite tenuous, really. I'll be glad when the seventh book and films are done and finished and then we can all move on back to Tolkien. :P

my theory ever since the first book came out was that harry would sacrafice himself to kill voldmort and save his friends in the last book :P

Well, she HAS said that this is DEFINETLY the last book... So it could go either way!!
I think the name's quite good actually... I mean "Chamber of Secrets" is just as common, if you like... I mean...it could be compared to The secret garden, for example.
I have a feeling that Ron or Hermione will die, to isolate Harry further...Just a theory.
And I think Snape will turn on Voldemort...He only killed Dumbledore because the blood oath forced him to....
We've all seen how Dumbledore can be there even when he's not....Prisoner of Azkaban :P

Hmm the last two posts give rise to an interesting idea. What if Harry actually tries to sacrifice himself but ends up accidentally killing Ron/Hermione? Will there be no future book because the 7th book ends with a mentally shattered Harry who fails to defeat Voldemort but banishes him to another plane. And in the process loses BOTH his friends.
Dang that would be such a great end, if only this weren't a children's book as well :(

The name of the book that has been translated into other languages seems to always refer to religion in some form..argh. I hope JK doesn't use some religious idea to help Harry defeat Voldy, please JK NOOO!

Well, i've sort of had a suspicion for ages that both Voldemort and Harry will die in the last book...I mean...think about it...
The prophecy says "Neither can survive while the other lives" ...but, didn't we miss the ending? What if it was something like they both had to die?

that would be quite a commen idea if JK uses the whole ressurection theme... most big fantasy books seem to use it in reference to christianity, for example LOTR and the lion the witch and the wardrobe...

Well, Tolkien and Lewis were Christians. I somehow don't think Rowling will use that theme if she's not religious at all.

yeah i agree! whilst i like long books it was just so rambly and went on and on and just didnt get to the point :P

I swear thats the only reason Im reading it now rather than in a few weeks when IM sunbathing on holiday!
