This one has also been :fr: For the moment, new members can't send IM's - they have to participate in the site and post proper posts before they can IM other members. This should hopefully discourage any more spammers.

do you know how to view the Headers on email ? IF you click on File properties, after youve opened the email, then look at Details... can you send me the info in there ? Should give us their IP address :D
then we can forward that info to Yahoo! cheers :D

We've had a sudden flood of new members with random names, all trying to post messages about dodgy products. We will try to delete the messages and ban the idiots as quickly as possible, but do continue to exercise caution when following links, particularly when posted by people you don't know.
In the meantime, I'm back to playing Whackem! :fr:

ive also applied the latest upgrades to the forum which may fix this problem.. cross fingers x x

Speaking of upgrades, what's up with the new format? The old one not good enough, or just old?
BTW, did anyone here see LOTR the musical in London? My son was there this summer and said the stage was smaller than in Toronto and they made do with fewer effects.

If you mean the background and stuff, that was me. I took down the Christmas decorations theme and reset everyone to Imladris's theme. We've got lots of nice themes and I like to rotate them once in a while.
If you mean the general layout, that's down to Simply Machines, who wrote most of the coding for the site and whose upgrades we take as and when they come out. Can't remember when this layout came in now - it's been a while though - enough that I've just about got used to it.
Probably means we're due another upgrade then ...

Why is it that the staff of this site have to police which themes people use? I am sick to death of having my theme changed to one which is not of my choosing; why can't you lot leave it alone?
