Title: Custom titles and position

Just wander how one gets those. Is it a number of posts ?

Custom titles are given to moderators and Appeals board members only

And a position? E.g. you've become a Vala if I'm not mistaken, how many posts do you have to have in order to become one?

there is no post count associated

Im a Vala, partly because I own this site, and partly coz Im an administrator

the Moderators are called Maia, and again there is no post count associated with these positions.  People are asked when and if we need them

The Appeals members are members who represent the other members here, and can take a disagreement about the forum (if they feel a Mod or Admin cant sort it out) to an Appeals Board, where the Appeals Members discuss how to resolve the issue and then present that to the Admin.

No, they probably don't have representatives, since they're not in a Realm. ;)

Ummm... Im not trying to cause problems here or be awkward or anything... but well... it seems a little unfair to me that realmers get an appeals rep and yet non-realmers dont. I mean... its not like theyv chosen to not be in a realm or anything... its not their fault (well... unless theyr complete morons then maybe it is hehe ::) but thats besides the point :P )

Hope this doesnt cause some kinda awkwardness... just I dunno... felt I should say something... :-\

There are seven Appeals representatives:

Realmers and non-realmers can make an appeal to any of the above.
